  1. sometimes the moods of sps puzzles me too.. must be something fishy that i didnt test or something new..
  2. fatality on birthday.. came home late last night to find the picasso whitecaps both having a very weird fungal-looking lump-growth, by the time i catch them out, too late, have lost both of them.. DEFINITELY something fishy going on in my waters, not good enough.. apologies to bro Fuel for disappointing him.. i will be staying away from anymore fishes for the time being, until i'm sure i rectified the issue.. r.i.p. little buddies.

  4. wao! cool stuff.. never see before hahah.. so your cauliflower (is that what it is?) is hosting it? btw, icic, nice idea on ur eggcrate.. was looking to do something like this too..
  5. wa water parameter.. u're really testing me haha.. all i recall is, Ca kept at 450-500, Nitrates below 20.. thats all i test for, last month.. because i use NSW, and water change every other day, i never tested for any other parameters, nor added any additive, except iodine and Iwarna Top-up..
  6. i have absolutely no idea whats a dendro crab!? so i cant seem to spot it in the video.. lol.. btw what is it that u lined the back of ur tank with? seems like rocks or something? at 38 secs of the tank video..
  7. no prob! lol bro, be the first one (i think), to do NPS+SPS in 1 tank! anyway my collection of sps is nothing in comparison to the pros here.. just some basic sps letting it flourish.. still fine-tuning the water quality and waves..
  8. amazing SPSes.. when is next fragging session? must jio..
  9. naked clown and clarkii.. lol.. i am no fishy expert, but can definitely tell these are beautiful rarities.. amazing collection of fishes u have..
  10. nope, i only use Iwarna's Top-Up, and sometimes manually add iodine supplement.. however, i do run a CR.. hope that helps..
  11. but the thing abt NSW is that, its subjected to fluctuations.. i have experienced periods where the water just doesnt seem right.. thats why i change water very frequently, because i use NSW..
  12. cya bro.. always welcome to visit.. i use NSW from the start till now.. cheaper and more convenient.. never used salt-mix..
  13. bro Wilson, pls dun mention it, we're supposed to visit u, but have been kept busy with CNY shopping and forgot all abt it.. sorry! anyway i think i have what u want, just let me know when u want to drop by.. got my no.? tml i have school till evening, so just text me to arrange!
  14. something fishy.. purple yumas and blasto did not open up today.. keeping fingers crossed and hope tomorrow will be a better day.. hope it will look like this again tml:
  15. wao, GOOD STUFF ah bro! eye a few pieces lao.. scaping also very shiok ar..
  16. this is the greenest hammer that i can find, after a tough search.. many thanks to the reefer bro who agreed to sell this to me.. currently hosting my 2 picasso whitecaps from Fuel..
  17. the twinspot pair, they share a cave, cute, keeps my sand clean.. but also is the cause of sand particles floating in the water column.. doing some sort of funny dance together.. posed with my 2 mini plates.. sorry, off focus..
  18. blue-tip tenuis.. radioactive birdnest.. purple stylopora, with a pink birdnest that's STN-ing..
  19. thanks bros and sis for all the compliments.. on closer look, our tanks have fatalities and our fair share of negligence.. we have lost fishes as well as SPS.. its not yet matured, and we're still trying very hard to fine-tune everything.. morever, this setup is only about less than 1 year old.. stay tuned, more pictures coming soon!
  20. thanks bro, aquascape is done using very big rocks with good shapes.. just really lucky.. bro Gary, how was the holiday? hope it was a good one! thanks, yupps i agree the cabinets made a huge difference.. the deadliest poison is the injection of an idea.. "inception".. hehe.. thanks thanks.. thanks bro skinbone, but i really think our tanks is really not "RC" material.. hahaha cannot compare to the pros.. bro cedric! many thanks for your compliments, both me and my dad still have alot to learn from senior reefers like you.. on close look, there's algae, suspended particles, sandstorms, and some fatalities due to STN, etc.. its not perfect.. yet..
  21. hey bro straydum thanks! u have this same carpet? how was the 'surgery' session?? thanks bro Lemon, its not that insane actually.. still have some regrets and learning points from this setup.. next time have to improve on these points too.. bro Wilson, long time no see, paiseh still owe u a frag.. hehe.. CFO still not very interested, sadly.. hahaha.. hey thanks bro ketchup! those maxi minis, from Pinnacle, it was one of the few leftovers.. wa bro very very sharp your eyes.. yes, i did a minor rescape on the 2 sides.. just slight shift of fengshui.. thanks bro onizuka for the compliments, but honestly, if u look closely, our tanks do not have any awesome or rare stuffs.. its probably just the cabinets thats making it look more 'professional'.. bro peace, thanks man, yes we are still keeping DSB, we felt it helped in our previous setup, so we continued using the same system.. water changes as per usual, 2 jerry cans twice a week, NSW from iwarna..
  22. FTS for Jan 2011, with the cabinets done-up..
  23. interesting colour blasto in my tank..
