Hi everyone, I collected my Algae scrubber from DE. I would say great workmanship on the algae scrubber and consider the price i paid for it, it worth everything. parts were machine fabricated nicely. tested it out this morning and you would require at least a 2000L flow to have a full cover over the mesh. The slit for the meshh to fit in was cut just nice so the water would flow smoothly down covering the whole mesh without much splash Im unable to post any pictures yet as i now in camp :( Overall It awesome to get hold of a great algae scubber at a fraction of shipping in a SM100.workmanship was great.

hi Mbmc, i read through santa monico SM100 link and he is eheim 1260 pump which is rated 2400L/H. he have a 1inch of water line level in his SM100 with a 1inch outlet. can i know about your design with eheim1000 too. jerome

hi is your scrubber base on the size of SM100?? http://www.radio-media.com/fish/100.jpg for lightings, u are using 4x 2ft t5 am i correct? sorry for the many question as i am interested in getting it too. if so i am also thinking of requesting DE lightings to construct 1 for me. you mention making 4 would have a drop in price tag. any reefer out there also interested in getting one of these too? hi bro i tried using your method but i still cant get the base of the mushroom off the liverock, i also scare cut them, is there any other way to remove them??

need help as of above, they are splitting too much and take up too much space, now have like 15 of them and when i tried touchin them and it surface a secrete a white string, but still firmly to the rock. need to get rid of them for other corals

hi can i ask you, i know the default price does not include 3-way control switch and temperature control switch.(which cost 100RMB each) how about the acrylic cover covering the LED at the bottom, is it included in the default price or i need to request for a cover at the bottom for another additional 100 RMB? please advice thanks Jerome

any idea will this product hit our stores? seem like it could score better then the current N/P reducing biopellets, it uses another type of biodegradable polymer and doesn't slime. one thing about this product from manufacturer is that you can skip the GFO. and best, its cheaper Any thoughts?
