Thanks everyone for your replies . now i am using a ehiem canister and together with under gravel filter . my fish includes 2 common clown , 1 african clown, 1 yellow tail damsel, 1 half back damsel and a clearner shrimph (spelling) and this be done ..

Hi everyone . i had just finished my one month cycling process and the water quailty is good. Last week, i just added a tomato clown and a yellow tail damsel 1) My first question is can i add different kinds of clown but only one species each . will they fight. 2) my 2nd question why after the 10th day , my blue damsel still keeps hiding in the rocks unless i on the lights . and when i come near the tank to feed , the damsel ran back to its hiding place again.. 3) This is my last question . can i add in a blue and yellow tang one month later after my tank has settle down . i am using a 2 and the half feet tank. last week i just bought a 3 feet under gravel plates. when i put the requried amount of plates down , there is still some empty spaces (too small for 1 plate). the question is should i cut the plates or just leave the remaining spaces ? The other question is last time i rear (lou han) i have the over head filter system (box filter) can i use the pump that is included in the over head filter THANKS so much for your time

HI i am setting up a new tank . the tank is now the 4th day of yhe cycling process. the tank is 2ft . Q1) can i dont put sand at the bottom of the tank ?i am only planning to rear common clown . Q2) why during the 3rd day of cycling , there are brown colour like things on the bottom of my tank (only a few). Why Q3) why there is water instead of foam in my skimmer Q4) when then can i introduced the fish into the tank. I am looking forward to your answer

HI hope the trant (NEMO) will be off as fast as possible or if not our marine life will be lesser and lesser . We as a member of reefclub must teach people about marine life right. but that day just outside clementi fish shop , i saw a middle age lady buying 1 common clown and 5 blue tangs (medium size) (DOrry) at one time so i went to ask her how big is her tank . 1and the half feet .i was shocked .worst still , her tank has been cycling for only 3 days . when i wanted to teach her more about the cycling process, the shopkeeper started shouting at me saying {Dont listen to that young boy }{he knows nothing] at last i just went out of the dam shop. He is only trying to kill marine life . i am sad for the fishes
