a good guide will be 10 times ur water vol.....of cos u can go higher like 15 or 20 times

if u r using a big return pump like 5k n above then maybe workable...but u need to filter the water going into ur chiller else alot of stuff will be stucked in the cooling coil which will need flushing often.....using 2 return is still 1 of the better way. if 1 pump fail, u have another one running...

1 thing for sure, u need to upgrade ur lightings to at least 6 tubes....8 tubes will be better, n of cos if possible go for 10.... CR is gd to have cos SPS will suck in CA n KH real fast. n also SPS need more stable perimeters. with the CA n KH going up n down daily, not very ideal.... Most SPS will love indirect strong flow.... Denitrator is good to have but if ur fish stocking is low, then no need to get that... that all i have at the moment. wait for more experts to guide u on

i dun drive rex of cos i wun do it....but i noe someone in sg rex to RWD. maybe he very rich lah, onli use the car for drifting.....

imo, i tried this set up during my 1st set up..... ur chiller will hit the set temp very fast, but ur main tank temp is still higher than the set temp...so very soon, ur chiller will start running again....not a gd idea cos u r feeding some water that juz exit from the chiller back to the chiller again. u can try feeding the chiller from the 2nd chamber of ur sump n output to the last. else u can try using 2 return pumps. 1 direct back to main tank, 1 go to chiller, n back to main tank. alot of ppl r using this way n seriously i think this is still the best way.....

it's better to leave the chiller outside....although is an eyesore but it work much better than placing the chiller inside the cabinet

basic stuff that u should have in ur sump......1st chamber, filter wool & carbon.....2nd, skimmer....last return pump. if u cant keep ur sump clean, adding more media will do more harm than gd

for mi blue lights r on for 12 hrs, white light for 6 hrs....blue light is added to make ur tank look nicer.
