  8. brown stuff may be due to not enuff flow in ur tank. u can get cleaning stuff to help u clean the sandbed.
  9. u get one rated for 200L also can work well...lol

  12. TS already state he looking for outsump model n u still post this? lol....... n not to disappoint u, this skimmer is undersize for ur tank......
  13. most outsump model will need a foaming n a feeder pump. insump model mostly need a single pump to work....
  14. guess, 2000/1 max can support till 800L onli....cos i using 1 mine is consider a cheapo skimmer which uses the 2000/1 but it is a in sump model....1 thing is u gt to make sure the spec of the skimmer u buy can support the 2000/1 power....else too much foaming will result in worse skimming...
  15. else it known as ruby wrasse...nice fish....
  16. not true......sometimes i lazy so use tap water for my water changes....i can onli find coraline algea in my main tank...lol.......
  17. could be a red margin wrasse....where u gt it from?
  18. what i do once in a while.....take a long hose, connect 1 end to ur sump wool filter, the other end juz above ur fingers.....use ur finger to dip into the sand n stir, the dirt will be sucked into the hose in ur hand to the filter in the sump.....quite time consuming but the sand will be alot cleaner after that....i did that for my dsb n all LS is okie......but do at ur own risk....
  19. cool....but it will help to tell others the length of ur tank as diff tank length will need to set diff pulse setting.
  20. skimmer at last comp then u will most likely face micro bubbles in main tank
  21. i believe for branded skimmer, some R&D is been done....how much water to feed, how much air to mix, how to let the air n water have a proper contact time......
