better to use a air pump n wavemaker if u intent to keep for so long. once i kept nsw in a pail n after 1 wk, the water turned cloudly, i remember i saw on a thread that ppl were saying not good to keep nsw for too long.......

going to decom my 3ft tank next mth so post up to c if there's any interested buyers.... tank spec... 3 x 2 x 2.5(ht) 12mm thick with sump n cabinet. glass with some minor scratches n some chip off on the cover of the tank. $120 Bubble magus skimmer......insump model, come with 2000/1 Aquabee needlewheel pump....china made but works realli well. $200 all items r still in use n can only let go after i transfer all my LS to my new tank next mth. ppl who wan to reserve will have to place a deposit unless i noe u. sorry abt the deposit but there's too many pilots in SRC.....

only the tank n skimmer is for sale, rocks will be transfered to my new tank, pumps will be reusing...

i tried using salt mix vs nsw to cycle tank n found that nsw produce better result.....my first tank was done with nsw n no cycling done. within 1 day of setting up, i dump fishes n corals in n yet in 3 mths, nothing in my tank died. my next tank was cycled with salt mixed. cycled for 1 mth n changed 50% of water b4 i dump in fishes n corals...fishes seem to get white spot easily n water perimeter seem to be unstable. now my 4ft i used nsw to cycle too. after 2 wks, i threw in a pbt n royal gramma. both r living happily till now esp the pbt, no white spot since day 1....

for bigger vol of water, i think it's easier to ask them to deliver to u. carrying large vol of nsw hm is no joke....of cos that will cost more, but i rather pay more than to break my back..lol
