what corals u planning to keep? maybe u can try getting a bigger skimmer. as for ur chiller, u planning to keep inside the cabinet? why not get those aircon unit? cheaper n works better than most chillers. my house already gt 2 aircon compressor, if not i surely get that.

so far, mostly r taken from paper. want to jump to led but i will wait for awhile when led become more stable n more affordable....i have to get 2 units for my tank and it seems abit ex at this pt of time. so i juz continue using my T5.

what chiller u running now? did u also reduce any chiller feed pump? from review of users of those aircon unit, they save alot on the bill. not sure y n how? but most of their chiller run for 30mins n rest for 2 - 2.5hrs.....

for a small tank, chiller running for 10 - 15min is possible. for 4ft n above....impossible....even a starmax 1hp running in a 4ft take 20min to cool down 1 degree. last time i was using 1/2hp for my 450L tank. cooling down 1 degree took abt 40min. but it stay off for nearly 2hr.

read on some of the reviews abt this light. the normal led has to be replace after 18mths. cree LED might be able to last longer. but since led is so new to us, n no one actually get to use that long yet, it hard to get any solid proof on this...

for a tank this big, ur chiller is not going to be able to support...better to get those aircon unit....even for my 4ft, this chiller take a long time to chill down to 1 degree

warn 0% = no warning if u see a warn 100%, then u can start to worry...lol

how much did u pay for ur BM460 giant? i think BM is considered quite a good skimmer for the price......

try using the black ones to block out the micro bubbles. the white one will clog after awhile.
