hard to move ard meaning magnet is strong = more cleaning power..... very smooth, magnet weak = no cleaning power, sweep too hard n fast, magnet float away...... anyway the strong magnet not realli hard to move lah.....eat more rice ba.....lol

try doing water change everyday.....it works for me...

not sure abt u...but for chiller pump, i always try to get the best i can afford.... and also when i say spoiling the pump, it not abt wasting money on the pump, more like killing ur LS and make u heartache....if u r at hm when the pump spoil, no prob...but if u happen to be at work, by the time u reach hm, maybe too late liao...

careful abt ur chiller pump. off on too often may result in breakin down

trying to monitor it, seems like it trying to show the lineatus who the boss in the tank....should be fine in a day or 2....if not i will juz sell it n get a smaller one.

hi all, selling some of my wrasses to make way for new wrasses. most of them r with me for at least 6 mth.. Temminck fairy- $12 blue head fairy- $12 yellow wrasse - $8 i treat my fishes better than i treat myself so i hope to sell to someone who has a good system. buyer need to have at least a 3ft as the fishes r quite big already. viewing and collection is at pasir ris. prefer buyer to be able to collect the fish on flexible timing so as not to stress the fish once it's trapped. temminck n blue head should be easier while the yellow would take some time. fishes r still roaming inside my tank so interested party can come over to view first b4 confirming the deal. may wan to sell the following fishes too. 1 x yellow tang....with me for abt 1 yr. bright yellow with no ick.... 1 x solar fairy wrasse. beautiful bright colours. should be close to full adult size. selling cos he keen to pick on my fav wrasse.

have u try to off ur return pump n see how much this thing suck remaining water into the sump? from the pic, it seems like the tube is deep into the tank. unless ur sump is very big else not advisable....u dun wan to come home with a half filled main tank with ur floor all wet?

k5 is overpowered for ur tank. even a k4 is overpowered.... suggest u get a k3 n use with ur k2..... comycus is right abt using 2 lower rate pump rather than 1 high rate pump...

Hi all, decided to keep the current tank and do some changes to keep me in the mood of reefing. Here r some items which i intend to change due to me doing some changes to my tank. Aquabee 7000 return pump - $250 Skimz SK2 kone skimmer with ehiem compact 2000 feeder pump - $800 hailea HC 500A - $450 that all for the moment. will update if i decided to do more changes to the tank.

blue tang r usually very tame and do not bother other tangs. few ways to tackle this prob. 1) catch out both yellow n blue tang, put in betta box or a holding tank. let the purple tang stable down b4 u release both tangs back. 2) some bro uses this n found it useful. placing mirror in ur tank to let the yellow n blue tang fight against their own reflection... 3) not advisable but i usually let them fight it out.... 4) sell ur yellow tang and blue tang.... prob is not every fishes r the same, my fishes will bully the new comer for couple of days and after that leave them alone....couple of days is to show the new comer who the boss in there...but i do heard of some cases where fishes will fight the new comer till it die.

can do with lower CA...ideal is at 420 to 450....too high may have bad effect on corals after long time...

although aquabee r lower wattage, but they r not as powerful as ehiem...the new water blaster looks look too...might be getting one to try....

from the syringe, u drip into the test water until the colour turn blue right? look at the remaining solution in the syringe by looking at the reading.... from there u get the reading n compare it to the table in the instruction. for example if 0.20ml is left then look at the table for 0.2....it that easy.
