can slowly add up for wavemaker. give u the excuse to cycle longer.

some suggesting,try using compressor chiller instead. will cut down on cooling time. and 1 wavemaker will not be enough for a long tank

from the pic, it look abit stress. Just leave it alone and monitor for 1 week. this is a pretty easy to keep coral. i used to feed mine with pellets to make it freshy

imo, it is up to u if u wan to add coral or fish first. dont matter. just take note, increase your bioload slowly. dont buy 10 fishes at 1 shot and throw them all in.

going to decom my tank so selling my lighting. 1 set of ballast not working. can just buy a new ballast to replace. 30 min job. tubes are old. suggest to replace. clips have to get new ones. will throw in 2 tube of 3 ft attached to the fixture. deal at pasir ris. whole set going for just $60

for 2 ft, i will not get the fan to cool down the temp. u will have to top up with di water every single day. unless u plan on buying cartons of di water to store in your home. pls do not use tap water.

Hi, i hope u read about this hobby before u decide to step in. First of all, marine tank is not as simple as fresh water. Lots of patience, time and effort is needed. 2ndly, although is good to get 2nd hand items, but raise your budget so that u can get some decent items. my advise is go for 2 feet with sump tank. get a proper skimmer, chiller is a must if u plan on keeping corals, no point using fan. u will top up water till u go crazy. for stand, dont get those metal ones. u will face alot of headache once rust set in. if u are not in a rush, camp in the 2nd hand market. there are times when reefers upgrade and sell off their current set up at good price. last but not least, if u planning to go on low budget tank, my advise is dont even start. this is not a cheap hobby. above is just my 2 cents worth. feel free to pm me if u have any questions about starting up this hobby. took me few years before i really went into this hobby.
