    Looking to sell the following as i changed to compressor kind of chiller. Chiller is about 3.5years old. Still running prefectly with min noise. However if u want a pc of mind, will advise u to send for servicing. Looking at $220. Self collect in pasir ris.

    Fish only confirm easier. No need to worry about CA, MG. No need expensive lighting. No need to use DI water.

    My method will be same to QT in a 2ft container. Depending on condition of fish, I will proceed with fresh water bath before letting go into container. For me I will put media and live rock from my main tank. Figure out this way there are some bacteria which allow me to delay my water change.

    Sorry if i offence u. It seems like u do not have enough knowledge to start a sps tank. Even if u have money to restart, u will end up failing again. And seriously in this hobby, if u are cash tight, dont start with some thing so demanding. Go for soft coral or lps. They are firstly more forgiving. They do not need strong lightings. They do not need strong flow. And they do not need very good quality to stay alive.

    Time taken to chill down 1 degree depends on few factors. Tank heat load, tank water vol etc. My resun 450 takes about 15min to chill down 1 degree and rest for about 45min. To see if u are using the right chiller, worse case is running time vs standby time is 1 : 1. Example if your chiller run for 2 hrs but rest for only 1 hr, then high chance your chiller is undersize or due for gas top up. 2000l/hr is for bigger hp like 1/4 or 1/2hp. Not sure where u read it, but online states cl280 pump required is 500l/hr

    Check the flowrate for your chiller. Fast flowrate dont mean shorter chilling time.
