Your current set up is more suitable for freshwater. Change to a tank with sump will save u alot of headache. If u use your current setup, within 3 mths u will give up.

What kind of fish u planning to keep? Unless u going for those big angels that cost $300 up, my advise is keep it simple. Fowlr is suppose to be simple. For fish to be healthy and maintain their colour, there are a few factor. The most important to me is water quality and diet. When I was keeping fowlr, I use red sea salt and better quality pellets n vitamins. And also I install a chiller and maintain my water temp at 28. Chiller to me is to keep water temp cool and keep the temperature stable.

Pricelist is super outdated as it was not updated for a long time. I dont think u can get black tang at $350 now. I bought mine 6yrs ago at ard $500. Now i think is ard $700 to $800?

I used to keep my tank at 1.020 to 1.021. Found that this is a good figure for my tank as i dont need to use too much salt(i used 1 bucket of 23kg every mth) Easier to settle down new fishes, Able to hold colour, for people who seen my tank last time, my queen was able to hold the blue, (partly it was a belize queen so easier to hold)

having battle with ich, the only 2 ways to cure ich is either copper or hypo at 1.09. Feeding garlic, installing uv doesnt work for me at all. For people who tried UV n still kena ich issue will know. People who say UV work usually just read from webby. When a fish kena infected by ich, sometimes even copper will be too late to save it.

Decided to clear all my dead rocks as i stopped keeping marine and they are taking too much space. I used them in a fowlr tank dose with copper so pls get them only if u are running a fowlr.
