  1. Ya, better remove it... I saw this previously in my tank... I suspect they might hurt Zoas in long run... cause whenever they appear some of my zoas closing the next few days.. therefore, a bit suspicious... not sure whether they release anything causing zoas irritation...Cheers..

  5. Hi, just back from C328.. Saw one smaller size 22x15x16 (~8.6"x~5.9"x~6.2") on the front rack. ~1red + 1 purple note. Good Luck.. Cheers
  6. Try get those fold able partition. You can fold to the shape and size desire.. I will snap some photo tonight.. No way to introduce aggressive tang directly in different time. They will fight to dead.. Let them sometime to acclimatise each others without physical contact.. Cheers..

  8. Hi, How big is your tank? If is big enough, probably get some acrylic sheet from LFS. Partition them and let them face each other via acrylic.. also add some mirror to confuse them... Must react quick b4 your fish get hurt.. Base on experience Purple tang is much stronger than YT and BT.. He is nervous due to new environment.. Let them uses to each other before introduce.. And try some live food like brine shrimp or mysis shrimp to build up his confident.. Cheers..

  11. 1. Check your KH (probably KH at low side), if ok move to step 2 2. Check your salinity (probably SG too high >1.030), if still ok.. then step 3 3. Check your test kit calibrate with someone else test kit... If everything ok, then just carry on as normal.. just slow down calcium dosing for the moment...and routine WC as usual.. Cheers..
  12. If your tangs like seaweed.. Probably, try this one "RAW Seaweed" if happen to shop Jusco JB.. I feed my tangs with this as well... I found very cost effective and net.. come in sheet form will not loose out and contaminate our tank.. with less than 1 purple notes.. Cheers..
  13. Oh. icic.. I am consider lucky.. My tangs is the most greedy one.. eat everything I gave.. For red bamboo they nip almost every few round they swim... I am fans on Henrys formula as well.. In fact, seaweed is type of algae too.. Let them try difference food.. you will find them enjoy more.. Cheers
  14. +1 Agree... Experience the same problem before... That is the reason I setup a link small QT tank with partition.. same water condition and no additional stress added.. fishes will add in different partition first for 2 months before transfer to main tank.. I believe stress play a important part of fish Immune system margin versus Ich... furthermore add many new fishes at once... the stress level multiply... Cheers...
  15. If still not yet open.. then better move to other spotted... although lots claim they are Low-Moderate lighting requirement.. I found they still prefer high light.. I got 3 branches of them, at different level.. I found that highers one which near to MH and T5 are the biggest polyps in long run.... about flow, try Give them moderate or indirect flow... Cheers

  17. So far, I only know C328 selling baby brine shrimps... or you can get brine shrimps eggs from LFS... I got one bought in impulse since last years. never used.. let me know if you interested... Cheers..
