Hai, Ducados, it is common for Blue Tang exhibit this.... it is Warning sign to opponent.. Their color faded temporary if stress... Cheers...

Just in general.... r u using hydrometer or refractometer? try get one refractometer or pinpoint measurement for reference. You will find some positive offset on some brand of Hydrometer .. So, to be safe.. keep it slightly close to nominal value.. Will be less stressful to livestock when evaporation take place.... And slightly gain oxygen solubility margin.... Especially.. when tank cycling also lack of experince to foresee changes..... 1.025 is Max.. slight evaporation or measurement error will resulted out of spec.... unless Auto Top-up system or routine checking.... I know some sps keeper control sg @ 1.025... But I found this value fall in high side for fishes (not all but majority)........just my opinion... Another point is ensure measure main tank salinity as well beside new salt mix water..... This is common mistake ppl make... Too High salinity will resulted oxegen deficiency... Cheers and Happy Reefing....

Then make sense now... ok... I suggest try step 4. that I proposed and also bring your salinity down to ~1.022 to improve the system margin... I assume yr tank still new right?? try some reef booster solution... will be better... And also probably get those continues PH monitoring system... easier to monitor and reliable too..... Cheers and Happy Reefing.....

Since mistake done, let try to fix it Some bros recommend : 1. Sell one of them 2. Try rescape (but doesn't work for my previous nano, I think tank too small even how we scape they still not happy) 3. Mirror methods (sometime works I observed tangs team up and aggainst mirror ) 4. QT them with partition and dimmer, release after few weeks. ( to avoid additional stress induce in your main tank ) 5. Partition your tank combo with mirror, release them after few months.. (Most likely works.. cause they already used to your tank condition.. and knowing each other strength. they will develope their own pecking system.. Weaker give way...) some reference: http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=88493&st=0&p=909029&hl=partition&fromsearch=1&#entry909029 Normally, for Yellow tang and Purple Tang. I suggested get slight smaller Purple tang than yellow one... Cause Purple tang known to be more aggresive and stronger.... Above just share my own opinion and learning from others guru..... Cheers and Happy Reefing...

Hai, Coral Farm has a lots p.shrimp.... Cheers... -
Actually, I perform small volume WC everyday.. So, I only dose supplement once a weeks. I am still doing daily dosing on Zeovit coral snow and little amino acid + coral vitalize from Zeovit as well.. for add on. You may consider on test kits first....... But basically, Most important if u keep reef (fish + coral), major supplement r: - Calcium - Carbonate - Magnesium For above, I suggest probably u can try "Caribsea AragaMilk" can actually supplies calcium and other major and minor trace elements plus time release carbonate ions. http://www.marinedepot.com/Caribsea_AragaMilk_Liquid_Aragonite_Calcium_Supplement_16oz_Liquid_Calcium_Additives_Supplements-CaribSea-CS8521-FIADCALC-CS0521-vi.html Other than above, can consider below product from Kent Marine.... - Iodine - Strontium & Malybdenum Some write up from Larry and other site.. which I found useful.... http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=88543 http://www.swmas.org/swam/articles/reef_tank_additives-williams.pdf That's lot more gadget beside that.. but I feel with above is good enough for kick Start.... Cheers and Happy Reefing.....

Try Kent Marine, Zeovit additive or salifert product Cheers and Happy Reefing....
