Ya, I believe MH still more convincing for sps. But some time very hard to quantify which factors is more important than others... Anyway. Is interesting topic to study sps response on LED to MH.. Hihi, I can help u DIY LED if u wan... but very poor workmanship.. Cheers

Hi, Kenny, Since u r using both. Pls find info below some from web and some from my understanding.. For me I am using Rowa only. Hope it helps.. goodbye! PO4 is a liquid phosphate remover which operates hand in hand with a protein skimmer or a mechanical filter. It works by binding active phosphate molecules, turning them into inert particulates which become unusable for further biological processes. That means it is unavailable as a nutrient for algae growth and will not affect corals well being. The particulate suspension is subsequently removed from the aquarium system by protein skimming and/or through the mechanical filter. RowaPhos (aluminium oxide) is a unique man made ferric hydroxide material specifically produced for efficient removal of phosphates, arsenic and silicates from fresh and salt water, below r my understanding on how the working principle via Phosphoric dissociation following by oxidation reduction process. eventually turn product into harmless iron phosphate form. The purple one is coralline. The red stuff could be red sponge or red slime?.. pic a bit implicit. Any photosynthesis bubble observed? or may be try to syringe spray on it.. If easily remove then possible red slime algae.. Cheers..

Try get kalkwasser mixes.. follow instruction as video below (note* video below using another alternative lemonade juice). U can apply the same procedure on Joe's Juice as well.. If possible take your infected rock out to cure/inject. If not possible or too huge then just follow video above.. Cheers..
