  1. Hi, Vinc, I used before.. now keeping in the store need to locate them... I feel the battery drain quite fast and the sensitivity quite bad, if you install them at hidden corner, although it using RF signal.. End up still manually more convenient and also imaging sometime you need to spend time locate your remote control. by then your switch already long "on" leo.. Just my tot or sharing.. Cheers..
  2. You need to click on image in order to see the animation.. Hope it helps.. Cheers..
  3. You should check your water parameter to decide full cycle or not.. Another thing Seawater always a risk.. And 1month doesn't mean you Nitrogen cycle completed. Pls find below a short clips on nitrogen cycle.. You need to make sure NH3 & NO2 almost zero and NO3 begin to climb.. NO3 is still manageable..Take note the duration could be vary from system to system depends your setup.. The best way is to measure and tracking... Cheers..

  7. Fake eggs sold in China for the last 10 years! Below article from 看中国.com Since the Chinese media disclosed that there are fake eggs being sold in markets, more shocking news has been uncovered by Chinese netizens: the fake eggs were discovered as early as 10 years ago! Food safety experts are concerned about long term consumption of these “eggs” as they can result in memory loss, dementia and other side effects still unknown. Who knows what kind of illness or even genetic problems may occur from this type of product. Also the nutritional value of the artificial eggs is very low. Ingredients normally used only as food additives are the key components of the fake eggs. Reporters from the Tianfu Morning Post did an internet search for links to 'technology of man-made eggs' and turned up 217,000 links. The technology can be easily bought via the web. From just a few hundred dollars you have access to the recipe for these chemical eggs. A short insight into the making is as follows: No great equipment is needed, just a small mould, just a few dollars to purchase. Next add some sodium alginate which was been soaked in water, stir until it is clear and resembles an egg white. The next step is to add some pale yellow food colouring to resemble an egg yolk. Pour the liquid into the ball shaped container. Place the container into water containing calcium chloride. Wait one minute and a layer of yellow solidifies, forming the “yolk.” The final step is to put the “yolk” into the previously made “white” then pour into a pre-made calcium carbonate egg shell and seal it. A complete “egg” made of chemical raw ingredients has been produced in less than 5 minutes. This simple process can be quickly mastered and with 10 moulds, 300 eggs can be produced in one hour! But why would anyone want to mess with a chicken egg? To make money. The cost of these “eggs” works out approximately 0.55 yuan per kilogram; while genuine eggs cost around 6.5 yuan per kilogram. Ma Wen-tao, the Deputy Director of Chengdu Trade and Industry Bureau Consumer Protection, claims he has not received any complaints of fake eggs. However, currently the only test on eggs done by this department is for the level of protein content. There is no uniform standard to recognise fake eggs. A lawyer, Feng Ming-chao, said “if the egg dealers sell the low-cost artificial eggs at the same price as the genuine eggs, according to the “Law on the Protection of the interests of Consumers”, the dealers will be suspected of having committed commercial fraud, in violation of consumers right to know.” The fake eggs can be identified by a few means: the shell feels rougher, both end sof the shells have perforation marks, when shaken a strange noise can be heard and also when broken the yolk will mix with the white. This is because the yolk and white are made from the same raw materials. Also when frying the fake eggs, the yolk will automatically scatter without being stirred. A supermarket in Huanggang at Shenzhen has resorted to setting up special equipment in order to help consumers test the quality of eggs. How far can “technology” go and at what cost to people’s health? A Japanese television crew have investigated the making of fake eggs, and their results are shown in the following clip. Here is the link to the youtube site, with the translation added by Secret China::
  8. Hi, Sorry to hear that, do u add any new additive or bacteria products? Some time newly introduces livestock might carry disease as well.. Better gone through proper acclimatize process in QT tank And also is your tank completed cycle? How bad is the situation? May be can house other fishes at LFS, that is some LFS provided this service. Cheers...

Below articles from ascendingstarseed.wordpress.com http://ascendingstarseed.wordpress.com/2011/04/04/radiation-in-japan-seas-risk-of-animal-death-mutation/ Nuclear Crisis in Japan and Radiation and Radioactivity from Fukushima nuclear plant bizarre mutations, decreased mortality, deformities, fukushima nuclear plant radiation leaks, mutations dna, national geographic, radiation affects on marine life, radioactive leaks ocean, radioactivity on fish ocean life, seafood radiation. More radiation from nuclear plant could cause “bizarre mutations.” Main Content Aboard a boat pulling a barge with water for Japan’s overheating Fukushima nuclear plant Thursday. Photograph from Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force via Reuters Christine Dell’Amore If radioactive material from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant—disabled by the March11 Japan earthquake and tsunami—continues to enter the ocean, marine life could be threatened, experts say. In the past week, seawater samples taken near the nuclear power plant, on Japan‘s eastern coast, have shown elevated levels of radioactive isotopes, including cesium 137 and iodine 131, according to the New York Times. (See “Japan Tries to Avert Nuclear Disaster.”) All life on Earth and in the oceans lives with exposure to natural levels of ionizing radiation—high-frequency radiation with enough energy to change DNA. Most such genetic damage heals, but the addition of human-made radiation can make it harder for the body to repair broken genes. Radiation concentrations in the Japanese seawater samples have fluctuated in past days, but on Wednesday the amount of iodine spiked to 3,355 times the legal limit for seawater, Japanese nuclear safety officials told the Associated Press. That level is the highest so far—and an indication that more radiation is entering the ocean, though how is still unknown, the agency reported. Cesium was also found to be 20 times its safety limit on March 28, according to the Times. Radiation Can Cause “Bizarre Mutations” Once in seawater, radiation can hurt ocean animals in several ways—by killing them outright, creating “bizarre mutations” in their offspring, or passing radioactive material up the food chain, according to Joseph Rachlin, director of Lehman College’s Laboratory for Marine and Estuarine Research in New York City. “There will be a potential for a certain amount of lethality of living organisms, but that’s less of a concern than the possible effects on the genetics of the animals that become exposed,” Rachlin said. “That’s the main problem as I see it with radiation—altering the genetics of the animal and interfering with reproduction.” Even so, according to radioecologist F. Ward Whicker, the concentrations of iodine and cesium levels “would have to be orders of magnitude larger than the numbers I’ve seen to date to cause the kind of radiation doses to marine life that would cause mortality or reductions in reproductive potential. “I am very doubtful that direct effects of radioactivity from the damaged reactors on marine life over a large area off the coast of Japan will be observed,” Whicker, professor emeritus at Colorado State University, said via email. Likewise, using legal limits to gauge damage to marine life is of little value right now, he said. To make a “credible assessment” of the risk to marine animals, scientists would have to know the actual concentrations of radioactive iodine in the water and fish or other marine animals off Fukushima Daiichi, he said. Radiation Hardest on the Little Ones It’s possible that levels of radioactive contamination near the Fukushima nuclear reactors could increase and cause some harm to local marine life, Whicker said. “If this happens, the most likely effects would be reductions in reproductive potential of local fishes. … ,” he said. Marine organisms’ eggs and larvae are highly sensitive to radiation, since radioactive atoms can replace other atoms in their bodies, resulting in radiation exposure that could alter their DNA, Whicker said. (Get the basics on genetics.) Most such deformed organisms don’t survive, but some can pass abnormalities on to the next generation, Lehman College’s Rachlin said. Either way, the radiation exposure could hurt the population’s ability to survive long-term. Rachlin thinks the most susceptible critters would be soft-bodied invertebrates such as jellyfish, sea anemones, and marine worms—which can take up the radiation more quickly than shelled creatures—though Whicker said fish may be most at risk.

The geoid is essentially a map of where the Earth's gravity is all equal: if you flooded the entire planet with water, this is the shape it would if gravity were the only thing shaping this global ocean's surface. This shape has been measured to high accuracy using the ESA's GOCE satellite.
