Hi, I got my thick aluminium bar @ SLT Continental electronics.. Try get thicker one to avoid warp in long run... The Thick Aluminium bar @ SLT is not cheap, U may try Ubi industry park if convenient.. If normal thinner Alu bar, u can try Clementi Hardware shop too.. Slightly cheaper... Cheers..

For Salinity PPT to Specify Gravity conversion, can using chart below & empirical transfer function I created @ 25C, just for reference, some could be ~0.001 sg error, but personally I feel is negligible. y = 0.0008x + 0.999 y = Specify Gravity x = % Salt (ppt) For eg, % Salt (ppt) = 30ppt Specify Gravity = (0.0008) * 30 + 0.999 Specify Gravity = 1.023 Cheers..
