Fish With Transparent Head Filmed For the first time, a large Pacific barreleye fish - complete with transparent head - has been caught on film by scientists using remotely operated vehicles at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute. The deep-sea fish's tubular eyes pivot under a clear dome.

I think if we have both Skimmer in sump and miracle mud/DSB with plants in refugiums will even better.... Skimmer will remove huge amount of DOC. In general.. Live stock feces or dirt would handle by skimmer. And left over nutrients such as nitrates will take care by refugium... And it helps some level on reducing nuisance algae growth in our tank. Some refer this as "nutrient export" process... Cheers and Happy Reefing...

Meanwhile, only Touch pool and Auditorium aquarium area open for visiting.. And it is free of charge... Tortoise pool at main entrance...

Unfortunately, Main aquarium closed for some repairing works... Below are the ticket prices.. Adult 5RM(Sing ~$2+) Child 2rm (Sing <$1) & Free for Handicap & Senior citizen age >55... Aquarium expected re-open beginning of next year....
