Yes u can cut the dying area.. but I suggest left some area for placing purpose.. Dun need to drive here (~8hours journey)... now a day budget airline very cheap (~1hours journey) You can either window shopping or buy some additives/accessories beside livestock if happen to visit Pg. For livestock purchase regulation better check with AVA and Malaysia Custom. For example, sometime if you lucky enough u may see baby Crocodile and rare reptile with Certificate on sale but I dun think is legal to bring in Singapore.. Cheers and Happy Reefing..
