I'm using 4ft T5 Hopar lights (2 white 2 actinic). Quarantined one of the rocks . Buds seem to open a bit more today. So probably it's the lemon peel lor.... Sianzzzz.............. Now how? Fish or Zoas?

Oh.... may it be bcos I put the zoas too near to the light? They'r about 11" from the light

I did a freshwater dip already. Doesnt seem to hv any white spots or anything remotely alien on them. My mushroom is doing fine. No other corals. I hv a lemon peel angel which may be the cause but she doesnt really bother the corals also mah..... I sit there watching for 1/2 hr to see if she misbehave but don't hv leh... I uploaded 2 photos but dunno if you guys can decipher anything from it. will try to do another water change tmr..............

Help!!! I'm getting quite desperate. So happy when I initially brought home some zoas and they opened up nicely. Subsequently, they started shrinking. now only one patch of them is opening up slightly while the other 2 just refuse to even try to open. What's wrong? I tried changing 10% of the water already. Never change anything in the tank either.

really love your zoas.... I got rid of my koran... so fed up with him. kept eating all my zoas i bought......

Thanks guys! Anyway... tried adjusting it. The rattling noise becomes more apparent only when I adjust the flow to low so 'bo pian' lor.... I keep the flow on high for the moment. Thinking of changing to reef octopus maybe later in the year...

Hi all... just like to ask if this is normal.... seems like the rubbery surface has been scraped off but I'm not sure cos I bought my H & S skimmer 2nd hand. When in operation, the skimmer produces a rattling noise esp when I try to adjust the outflow to less. If I hv to replace this particular part, any idea how much it would cost and where to get it?

Any idead if it will fit for my Hopar lights?

Definitely not hairy shrooms. Auntie doesn't sell THAT expensive shrooms. It's the other LS nearer to Ericsson.

So mine is a 4 x 1.5 x 2. Which wave maker should i get? Some ask me to get Seio 820. Some ask me to get Tunze. I'm confused. So which one would be more ideal??

I also got the same problem leh.... Damn sian... How to more effectively remove these particles? I've already got 4 layers of sponge in the sump. Doesn't seem to remove the particles well enough. Any particular brand of sponge that should be used?

Wat's the ideal temperature?? My waters are about 29-30 degrees. Die lar.... not enough money to get a chiller at the moment leh

So far my star fish like quite happy. Moves around quite fast too. I try to leave bits of food (blended mixture of seafood) beside it but the wrasse keeps getting it so I hope it manages to get some.
