As for adding Fan for coral, no comments from me as I keep fishes only. I do use Fans for my fishes too. However the evporation will be high and you will need to top up loss water very frequent. A sump is another tank that normally place below the main tank for filtration and host any other related equipment. You should be able to view some reefer's tank in this forum.

Agree with Drato11 Bro on the Red Sea Prizm Skimmer. I using for my Quarantine tank and they work great. I have a Via Aqua Mulit-Skimmer http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_AquariumPage...ti-skimmer.html. This can replace your filter as well as having a skimmer running. Through test, find it is only good for tanks less then 25 Gallons not what the specification stated as 80 Gallons. Just my 2 cents: The frequency of water change is really depend on the system running and also what someone want to archeive. I had read the book named "Utlimate 50 tanks of the world" (hope I remember the title correctly), that those reefer change water varies from once evry 2 weeks to once every quater. For mine, as I am only keeping FOWLR, I do it every 2 weeks with 10%. However the PO4 seem high. As long as my fishes are happy, I am OK.

This shop is located next a coffee shop selling Wanton noddle (quite good taste as well). Should not miss. They open Mon - Fri (9-5) and Sat half day. They are a wholeseller and do entertain adhoc. However if they have lose pieces. They also carry all sorts of color acrylic sheet. I use a black acrlyic sheet (place behind the tank) as my nano tank background instead of Oyama. Is will allow me to change color any time. Of cos will a cost la...:-). They also sell cylinder acrylic also. If reefer are adventure to build their own skimmer, FR, CR...etc.. can look for them as well. Forget the company name.

Add 5 fishes at a go is far too many. Is your tank 2 * 1 * 1 (60cm * 30 cm * 30 cm) ? If yes, then it will be max 54 litres of water. Not forgetting your rocks and sand. Thus you should have max of 45 litres of water. You might exceed the Bio load you tank can handle. Normally for a start, I use 18 litres per 1 inch fish. This would means you can only have 2.5 inches fish (from head to tail). You can push the limit to 9 litres per 1 inch fish when your tank mature. You may wish to share what filter media you are using in your filter.
