Been CF yesterday and confirmed that they only bring in Hybrid Power Blue. The difference is the hybrid power blue will not have white patch below the cheek. Its all blue. Check it out and you will be able to tell.

Hi Bro The smallest Yellow Belly Regal Angel in SeaLife is approx 4". Not that small leh. Sealife is along Balesteir road , turn in the small road where Hoover Hotel is located. If coming from Thomson, then it will be after Whampoa market. If coming from Rangoon road, then do a U turn after Shaw Plaza and go towards Hoover hotel. Hi All Bro and Sis I am very new in keeping corals. Been keeping up with my FOLWR tank and toying the idea of setting up an additional reef tank. However, just to find out do we need to quarantine corals? If yes, do I need to setup a small tank with chiller + skimmer ..etc to run the quarantine process? How long to quarantine to ensure that the rock attached with some of the corals are free from disease and pest?

My 2 cents. What test kit you are using? Are you using salt mix water or New Seawater? If using Salt mix water, did you test the new salt mix water? Normally new salt mix water should have a CA level of 400 depending what type of salt used. This might a guage to test your test kit whether giving you accurate reading. Tested API CA test kit and find it is not accurate. May be the one that I brought is not good. So far Sailfert CA test kit seem to work for me.

Here's some of the fishes saw this noon in SeaLife and 201 LCK: SeaLife Yellow Watchman = 20 Spanish Hog = 3 African Angels = 6 - 10 (SML) Sohals = 6 -7 (SM) Regal Angels (Yellow Belly as not sure from which region) = 5 (ML) 201 LCK Purple Tangs = many (XS, S, M) Flame Angels = many many (SM) Plotter Angels = 6 - 8 (SM) Asfur Angels = 10 - 15 (SM) Midas Blenny = 6-10 (do not know how to classfiy size as always see LFS bring in the same size...he he about 4") Royal Gramma = many (SM) African Flameback Angel = 1 -3 (S) Orchid Dottyback = many Sunrise DottyBack = many Blue Angels = many (SM) Gold Flake Angel = 3 (ML) Queen Angels = a few (L) Visited this 2 places at 11:00 SGT (LCK) and 14:00 (SL) respectively. Thus call them before going to avoid disappointment.

Hi Pauline Hum...thought you been setup quite sometime ago using hang on filter. I am having a 1ft cube and using Ehiem Liberity 200 filter. Good and reliable. Own this filter for more then 6 years. Worlth every single cent spent. However as this filter does not come with skimmer, I am using a Redsea Primz skimmer in addition. Hope this help as a reference for you.

Hi Bro That's a good way of making customize rock for scaping. However cement may not be aquarium safe depending on the contents in the cement. You might need to cure the custom made cement rocks for 3 months before usage. A friend of mine successfully did the rock cement before and used it for 3 years. Let me find from him the pros and cons and post in this thread later.

Hi RevellClownFish Bro You put in 6 Angels at a go in your tank? Unless you have a huge tank > 6 ft in length, else Angels will sure flight for space. Stock slowly and you will have a better success.

HI Bro O3 may be good to improve certain parameters of your tank. My 2 cents of certain thing you may wish to take note: 1. Ensure all tubes used are O3 friendly else they will "melt" off. 2. To be safe, the output of your skimmer (water) should pass thru carbon to absorb residue O3. 3. Have a Redox controller to ensure not overdose O3. 4. Residue O3 will escape out from your Skimmer collection cup and thus need to have carbon "difuser" on the air vent on the skimmer collection cup. It is a simple small container that contains carbon (a bit of cotton) to filter the residue O3 from the Skimmer collection cup. 5. Bear in mind that O3 is harmful to human too. If you need the carbon difuser, let me know the ait vent size of your reef optopus skimmer (in terms of mm). I have 2 such carbon difuser that you can have it for free. I will not be using O3 anyway. Thought of using O3 couple of years ago and drop this idea after much reading. Too much work for me to cope and I am not ready. Do not mistaken that O3 is no good. Just use it with care and am sure it will help in the water parameters. I choose to use double skimmers to increase oxygen for my tank instead. Of cos over skimming could also have it pros and cons.
