  1. Hi All Have a spare Vortech MP40W fro sales. Been used for 1.5 years. Date of manufacture for this set is Feb 2008. Been upgraded the firmware to the latest as well as replaced to the 2nd Gen Magnet. The Wetframe and the impeller been replaced new. Asking for SGD 300. I reserve the rights to whom I wish to sell to. Below are the picture. The bracket that is currently holding the Adpator and the controller is not sale as its is not a standard item.
  2. CF is Coral Farm in 60 Lim Chu Kang Road lane 6F. They are both eating as they been there for a couple of weeks. However not sure if they been fed on pallets or frozen.
  3. If you are looking froJuv. Regal approx 1 - 1.5", then CF has 2 of them. Yellow belly Regal.
  4. Corals is not allow to be brought out of Hong Kong by individual as far as I am aware. Fish still can but need to be check-in and not hand carry due to the rule of 100ml fluid then can bring onbaord. Have a good trip.
  5. You can try 5B (5 Brother) in Joo Chiat. They do have lots of such big drum available.
  6. Hi RockyBoy Thought only need a Thermostat with relay contacts (with normaly close "NC" and normally open "NO") and you just set the temp to like 30 degrees to trigger the shut off of the MH? Where your MH is connected to normally close (NC) and when detect temp exceed 30 degrees (with assumption that chiller is faulty with chiller temp set as 27 degree) and the relay in the Thermostat will trigger to normally open (NO). Off course the MH will need to be connected to a timer before connectting to the Thermostat AC output to provide the timing for MH ON and OFF. Not sure if my understanding is correct.
  7. normally that would means you impeller is wearing out. Take out and check before diaster happen. BTW what rtn pump you using?
  8. If you stay in the west, try LCK as they brought in a couple of them Solid color.
  9. Flow rate too high or the air vent open too much. Try close the air vent first and see if it overflow. If NO, the adjust the air vent slow to the level that can foam bubbles and skim.
  10. To add on, CF means Coral Farm located in Lim Chu Kang Lane 6F unit 60 (if I remember correct). They do sell pair percula clowns and individual one that you can pair them.
  11. Hi Peter Bro Which LFS? Isn't that easy to guess? BTW Not many Marine LFS in SG. Hi deimos bro Are you having a saddle puffer (http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/puffers/saddlepufferhawaii/) ? Read more about this fish. Normally puffer fish let go tonix when stress or threaten. This cause a wipeout. As for your Damsel, they are Azure Damsel. They work out well for me and found the least aggressive damsel compare to the rest of the same family. BTW this is the only damsel I will keep as they are beautiful. Seek more advice from the senior reefers.....this will help you a long way. Stop buying any more fishes now till another 1 month or so. Check water parameters before adding Live Stock even after 1 month.
  12. I know a couple more reefers in the west. Too bad, they hardly in forum and they don't like to post for sure. What's this list for? Gathering for West reefer like BBQ, K.....etc? Or gether for fish talk?
  13. I second to this. However, for me, I always for the smallest fish I could fine. I read from somewhere that the bigger the fish, the higher chance they do not adapt to home aquarium as much as smaller ones. Reason being, they are to used to the wide life. Of course, choosing small fish will have the risk of being bully in your tank if you have bigger fishes. Thus normally I quarantine my fishes to ensure they feed well before going into my main tank. Also lots of smaller cave will provide shelter for smaller fishes where bigger fishes cannot get in.
  14. Hi Bro If you stay in the west, then clementi blk 328 aunties shop or ployart will sell the betta box. Place a mirror inside and normally purple tang will fall into such trap. As for 6 line wrasse, never work for me using mirror method. So far the fishes that fall into such trap in my tank are Purple tang, yellow tang, blue face angel, koran, flame hawk, sohal and convict tang. No luck with wrasse.

  16. Hi Bro This is normal for Sea Hare to produce lots of waste. If your Bio system is effective, it should convert the waste very fast and not to worry. The only problem I encounter for Sea Hare is that not enough to feed it....that mean no more algea. Thus its a good practice to share the sea hare between 3 -4 reefer and each one have it for a week or so. This is provided you are able for take it out from your tank. For smaller tank like 2 * 1 * 1 tank, then it is easy. For larger tank, it will be a chanllege to take out the sea hare.
  17. Wait till it get stable........there might goes your anthias......
  18. If you stay in the west area, then go to Clementi Blk 328 (Auntie shop). Normally they have ex-stock 1 - 2 pieces. I find their prices are the best for eheim products. Brought 2 1260 impeller from them this year.
  19. Hi Bro I have tried 6060 on my 3 * 2.5 * 2.5 ft and its still too strong. May be wothout sand bed it will work. Upz for your sales.
