Is your tank 5 * 2 * 2? 1/4 HP chiller might be under spec for such a size. Check it out with the reseller.

HI Jacky The longest tank I seem in a reefer house is 8.5 * 1.5 * 1.5 and he is using 10mm glass. Normally glass come in 8' by 4' (as far as I know) thus making > 8' will need special order. Also the chanllenge is setting up in flat, if landed property then no issue. Might also need to setup in the house then ready make and carry over. That reefer I know has his tank made in the house by the LFS.

Hi Eniram Bro Is the 3 pin converter comes with the timer? This is to convert the German plug to our normal 3 pin format. I had the same timer formerly, the quality is not good. I plug in and out a couple of time and the internal "live" and "neutral" has a short cct. Luckily I use a multi-meter measure before turn in ON else it will cause your house cct breaker to trip. Worse will be cause your lights to blow. I have 3 such converters that is good qaulity brought from Traveller shop. If you need them, its FOC for you as I had changed to use Hager time liao.

I am using for my 3 * 2.5 * 2.5 and turn to full power is too strong for me. Guess it will depend on what you want to archeive and also whether has sand bed.

Hi Bro After reading from MarineDepot, NexTag and Marine&Reef on this product, it seem to receive lots of great reviews. You may wish to get on reef central to check whether any reefer in US tested and proven this product is great. My 2 cents on the Pro and Con for thsi system: Pros: All in one system which will be neat. Once in operation, minimum adjustment is needed. Work like a canister which is a close system. Auto top up which I think its cool. Cons: Saw a review that the clip is plastic and thus tightening need to be careful. Hard to upgrade the skimmer and thus if one need a more powerful skimmer, then it will be a challenge. If ou bring it in and please post the results. It should interest some of the reefer here.

Hi Bro My understanding as follow: Upgrading to Gen 2 generally means changing the magnet to the "black" version which does not suppose to rust. You may wish to change the wet frame cover as well. That's what I did. Firmware upgrading is also needed to have the night mode. Self upgrading from the web instruction does not seem to be work on all models as it is dependent on your current firmware version. I had "screw up" 2 of my MP40w while trying to do so. In short, go to iwarna will be the best option. Any way you will need to buy the magnet from them for the upgrade.
