I have trapped all the fishes I wanted to catch with the Fish Trap carried by Gemsurfs So far i find Tangs easiest to trap by just clipping a piece of seaweed at the top hole, lift up one of the trap door with one hand, and release the door when the Tang swim inside to eat the nori..

So far TFC always got post to inform that they will be closed.. although sometimes on the same day then inform so better check their thread or Facebook before going down.. some LFS just paste a notice at the door to inform they have company dinner that night and won't be open, don't even other to post in their own sponsor's thread.. make you go all the way to their door step then realize they not open

Agree.. high possibility due to the type of food.. Whenever i feed dry pellets my skimmer stops foaming for a few hours then resume normal operation, opposite to your situation.. Maybe you can show a photo of your skimmer water level during normal operation?

I am currently running a DC5000 return pump for my 4x2x2.5 and i find it not enough.. maybe you can try positioning the wavemaker so that the sand bed don't get disturbed.. What i am sure is that your fishes will be happier with a wavemaker.. do you want your fishes to be happy?

Or swop position with the FR? I guess maintenance on skimmer is more often than the FR..

Cycle 2 weeks is possible if you dose bacteria to speed up the cycling process and provided you have enough biological media such as bacteria king and lots of live rocks for the bacteria to colonize. Even if you dose bacteria to shorten cycling period to 2 or 3 weeks, you should only start with 1 fish and slowly add 1 per 2 weeks.. but you added more than 10 fishes within 2 weeks From your sump setup, can't see clearly what's under the filter wool.. probably not using any carbon dosing method such as Bio-spheres, Nitra guard or bio-pellets? So next question is how do you deal with nutrients export? By frequent water change? Are you using a Weipro skimmer? It looks under-sized for your 4x2x2 tank. My guess is your biological filter is not matured and ammonia spike is killing your fishes. Plus you added 2 anemones to an unmatured tank.. if the anemones die and you did not remove fast enough.. you entire tank will be wiped out

How old is your tank? Did you cycle the tank properly before adding livestock? Did you stock up slowly or bought many fishes at one go?
