Bro for me no matter what sequence I introduce the tangs, bound to have aggressive ones that will bully the newcomer.. so what i do is to trap out and isolate the aggressive ones and let the newcomer settle down and feed well before releasing the aggressive ones back to the display tank..

I am using the 3-stage DI unit from Madpetz.. 1st stage carbon cartridge and another 2 stages of DI resins. What I noticed is that fine carbon particles get trapped in the DI resin stages.. more carbon particles found in the 2nd stage immediately after the carbon stage, and much lesser carbon found in the 3rd stage of DI resins. I believe you get the same result of zero measurement regardless whether carbon is 1st or last, just that you get lesser fine carbon particles going into your tank if you put carbon as the 1st stage. However, this is only applicable to those commercial units where untreated tap water is forced through the DI unit canisters.

Looking for lobang for PVC pipes and fittings
SunkistC replied to dragoncube's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
Can refer to this thread If you want good quality pipings and fittings at reasonable price, can try Hai Cheong Plastics at Blk 11 Kallang Place... -
I started this marine hobby in 1996... I still consider myself a noob as there are so much to learn from others' experiences.. and I am learning from a fellow reefer who started this hobby much later than me but gave me solid advises that works

Have to agree with Firestarter that it is not a good idea to introduce puffer or trigger fish for the purpose of eradicating crabs. Trigger fish is probably suitable for FOWLR with large fishes as they can be agressive and attack other small fishes. I have had a Picasso that killed my green chromis. As for puffer, if it dies in the tank it might release toxin and crash the entire tank.. You can try to DIY a crab trap and buy commercially available pest traps such as: Reeftech Pest Trap: I tried this when I started my current tank and was able to trap a few small crabs. You can place it near the live rocks where the crabs are known to live in.. not necessary have to place it flat at the bottom of the tank. Refer to this thread bro... You can't find 160 Neo Tiew Road on Google Map or Street Directory, it will point to middle of nowhere of Neo Tiew Rd. If using GPS to navigate you have to use 161 Neo Tiew Road. This is how the entrance to 161 Neo Tiew Rd looks like.. drive abit faster u will sure miss it! There are 3 buildings at this plot.. Ah Bac is the 1st one on the right side when you enter from Neo Tiew Rd.

Previously I had my Marine Tank in my bedroom and it was placed under the Aircon fancoil, and after awhile the metal parts in the fancoil all turned rusty. Perhaps you can consider what Thomas suggested, but definitely not directly above the tank. At least you don't have to worry one day the compressor may collapse and smash your tank... but before that could happen your compressor mostly likely will be damaged due to rust. Safety 1st bro.. hope to see your awesome tank soon .. cheers
