Luckily no casualty... i think the older Waveline, Tesino, Diablo etc all made by Jebao.. performance wise is similar.. equally quiet.. good thing about DC pump is u can switch to the lowest speed during feeding.. I don't use the feed mode as it completely off the pump.. Now waiting for the new Waveline DC6000 as heard that Waveline changed their manufacturer in China and the new DC4000, 6000 and 12000 are of better quality.. but yet to be proven..

The GP-231 died in the middle of the night... next morning had to take urgent leave to get a replacement pump! Now using Jebao DC-5000.. another China made pump So better have a backup pump on standby if using China made pumps...

Sorry to hijack this thread.. I started running bio pellets for about a month and i noticed my filter sock getting choked every 2 to 3 days.. used to be 1 week plus before using bio pellets.. does running bio pellets makes the filter sock chokes easily?

Thanks Bro Gouldian Now facing problem with water temperature as the LumenAqua Mini 45 LED light runs very hot and and sump cabinet is not well ventilated Without refugium light on the water temperature is 29.5 degree C, after running the light 24/7 temperature increased to 31.5 degree C. Tried blowing a cooling fan at the refugium light and water surface but only reduced by 0.5 degree C... Trying not to have chiller in order to cut down electricity bill... Anyone knows of suitable LED lighting for refugium which doesn't run too hot? Thanks!
