  3. Bro 10500 is 1st generation pump, which problems surface usually after 3 months better have something to backup.. but you running 2 pumps.. can't be so suay both fail together at the same time though
  4. If really want to use Jebao then better buy 1 more spare pump to standby... 1st generation pumps proven not reliable.. 2nd generation pumps yet to be proven..

  9. My Regal Angel was trained to eat pellets at the LFS, it eats only pellets now, not even seaweed and is a herbivore... Hope you can get your Regal to feed... good luck! Anyone buying Regal it is better to make sure that it's feeding at the LFS..
  10. Maybe you should consider tank making as a side line

  16. Selling a 5" Blue Face Angel for $90, eats everything (pellets, seaweed, mysis etc...) Collection at Sengkang West Fernvale Rd. Text me @97646964 if interested. Thanks!
  17. Did you measure the specific gravity of the NSW? Try to use accurate measuring device such as refractometer instead of those swing arm hydrometer which can give very inaccurate readings. NSW SG level can be very low.. skimmer can't skim properly at low SG. I am using a Deltec SC2060, it started to kick in 10 mins after power up.
  18. High flow low wattage seems like only DC pumps fit the bill currently. If money is not a concern can get Abyzz (German products so built to last). But last how long we do not know yet ... any user of Abyzz pump encounter any failure so far? Else can get Made in China brands like Jebao, Reef Octopus Diablo but reliability is a question. For the 1st generation Waveline, Jebao, Diablo DC pumps, we have seen failures within months of usage. The 2nd generation DC pumps are on trial now since they were launched not too long ago... but the supposingly "improved" 2nd generation Waveline DC pumps are not even not sale in Singapore(though Waveline DC6000 are available for exchange for those broken down DC5000 within warranty)! Cost wise if you buy 1 Abyzz A200, you can buy 12 Jebao DC12000.. Suppose a China made DC pump can last 6 months and they improve their design and reliability along the way.. you probably can use those China made pumps for more than 6 years if paying the same price for 1 Abyzz. However the Abyzz can be used as a wavemaker, this function is not available in those China made DC pumps.
  19. Wow big tank! If considering Deltec should go for SC2560 instead.
  20. Wow the finishing looks professional!
  21. Try to cover the power sockets with plastic sheets as splashing is inevitable. When the filter sock gets clot water will overflow from the top with alot of bubbles and from what I see your right side sockets will get hit. Can't see your cabinet clearly but seems that there are not much openings for ventilation, if so this will cause condensation inside the cabinet.
  22. Awesome sump! Guess the sump itself already cost a bomb?
