Opss. Forgot the hydra52 light are new equipment. The colour of the hydra52 are better blended and intensity much higher. Have to tune down the white to peak at 50% compared to vega which peak at 90%. SPS seem to like this light combination and growth took off. Even new acquired SPS are showing sign of growth within days. Now have to dose Part A and B everyday, manual dose.

Nothing much to update as usual. No new equipment added or change in settings. Pic taken last evening with white led full blast in order not to get blue picture.

Most of my stag horn perish due to low Ca of 210ppm. Have since up it number to 450ppm and keep the level stable. Hope the reminding acro will grow well.

Added some SPS from recent GO shipment. Took some pic before the acro losses colour.

I didn't do any setting. Notice I have to place the iphone cam flat on the tank glass to take the pic. If it's tilted an angle from the glass, then the pic will turn out with bad colour.

Is this a deep water SPS? Low light? What flow is require? SPS expert pls advice. Thanks.

Looking to sell my existing 2 x AI Vega and controller. The light don't come with any hanging kit as I'm still using the tank mounting rail for AI Hydra52. Light is bought from Iwarna (Apr 2013) and registered warranty with Reef Depot. Both light are installed with 2 customised puck, replaced the 2 Royal Blue with Violet and UV led. The original puck will be given as well. Also 2 spare fan bought direct from US. Looking to sell both with controller at $1000. Reason for selling is I wanted to replace them with Hydra52 for uniform colour with my existing Hydra52. PM me to deal or for details. Collection will be at Punggol. Thanks.

I started without chiller, use fan blow across surface. Evaporation was so high, keep topping up water to my 18L holding tank every alternate day until my hand weak. Gave up and bought a chiller after 6 mths.

If it's 60" inch and tank only got 2 rock, each rock must be over 30kg in weight..ha.h.ah.

I need a little help here. I have a few pieces of $5 rock zoas, those cheap kind. Notice they open big and nice for quite a few weeks, then it started to close up and refuse to open. After 2-3 weeks staying close, these zoas will wither and waste away, not all, but most of the polyp on the rock. What could be the problem? Those zoas that cost over $20-30 are doing fine and show no such sign. I'm puzzled, hope someone can shed some light. Thanks.

Nothing much to update. Just some tank pictures to keeps thread alive. Using iPhone cam, so quality a bit crap. That's the only cam I have anyway. Ha ha ha.
