  1. Got the new stand after 2 weeks of waiting and still, the outside dimension is different from the previous weak stand. As my contractor have start building the cabinet for it, they have to discard them and rebuild it again. And I have to pay for it again <_<
  2. And the wrongly built metal stand..... The stand is so weak, even a gust of wind will send the tank swaying left and right on the stand ...
  3. Nothin much to update since my house renovation have not complete. Wall painting and wood vanishing give off some very choking flame, I guess they are real poisonous. It's putting me off from starting the tank until those work have finish, which will probably after Feb liao lor. I attach a few pic of my raw tank anyway...hope to satify you for now...h.a.h.ah.

  6. Anyone know what it means? From the para below, does that means Phase Angle Control will control Hz and hence reducing Voltage? "Phase Angle control uses a low frequecy switch to chop an AC sine wave. The firing angle of the switch is varied. The average voltage will be proportional the area under the sine wave. Thus, the average voltage is the integral from the firing angle to the zero crossing, the cosine of the firing angle."

  10. RTN stand for Rapid Tissue Necrosis. This describe syndromes where acropora and other SPS corals rapidly (or not so rapidly) slough tissue from thier skeletons. There are several patterns of tissue loss. In the first case, the coral rapidly loses tissue from the skeleton. When the coral is subjected to current, many times large clouds of coral tissue will be seen sloughing from the skeleton.
