Hi to all Hailea chiller users. Do you guy have problem with this chiller? My Hailea chiller don't seem to be performing well. I tested it last night, with no lighting turn on, water temp is at 31.3. The chiller was turn on at 6pm to start cooling the tank. At 930pm, my the tank temp is only 31 degree!!! For 3.5 hrs, the chiller only managed to pull down 0.3 degree??? Mine is a 1.25HP chillerusing R22 coolant. Seem like the chiller don't hold up to their cooling spec. May I know how is your hailea chiller performing?

its not that huge. Compare the tiles and the legs of the chair....something like 40 to 50 cm long only.... Wonder what izzit. AT....what is that damm thing??

I did mine using spray paint. Actually wanted black, but wife complain, say blue better, so in order to have my tank up without much objection, I go for blue.

Have to pay for medical and somemore not able to come work....bad for economy..... mv3i, The dimension of the main tank is 6.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 ft, the biggest dimension can fit into the lift. Sump is a 4 x 2 x 2 ft tank, no holding place for refugium or bio material stuff. Just serve as extra water volume for the main tank. The total cost of the main tank, sump tank and SS stand is 3k. The cabinet is done by my renovation contractor, price factor into the whole renovation quote. Its roughly around 700+ for it.

Not really. I am just trying to ramp up the economy, with more demand, there is a need to supply, creating jobs for many in SG. I think the power bill going to hurt me alot, especially after draining all my money for house renovation and home appliances. Will go as conservative as possible. Our Gov says everyone must have a saving of at least 6 mths of your monthly salary in case of raining days. But I only left with an amount equal to 1/2 mth salary in my saving now ...

The lightings have not been fixed yet. The light in the tank now is a FL tube use for viewing my house before the lighting is fixed. Attach a pic to show what light it was...h.ah..ah

Will it be more durable if opt for a AC version? I saw some hardware store selling them for 20+. Thought AC ones can do away with those bulking transformer will be great. Of coz the fan will be away from water, even drop also won't kenna the water location lah....

And the last pic for now. The full tank shot with cabinet built around the tank. Also managed to make a rock rack. Filled the overflow chamber with water to test for leakage, if any, on the bulkhead joint. Lucky no leak ar!!!
