IanJ, I face bryopsis attack some mths ago. I threw in rowaphos and then pray. Seem like that product really giving the bryopsis a hard time to survive. Day by day, I can see small clump go missing, followed by bigger clump going to. You might wanna try a purple tang, mine seem to tear the aglea apart without me wetting my hands. Together with the rowaphos, the floating bryopsis just couldn't archor themself and dies off.... I battle the aglea with dry hand One more unclassified observation i made. High alk level seem to kill them too ... Start dosing them, its good for your coraline anyway .. kee..kee...

Go and get a 5cm thick kind of blue filter sponge, those used in koi pond, and sit the pump on top. There aren't any pump that is total silent unless they are small tiny powerless pump. The humming is cause by the vibration of the pump. Its also depends on what your sump sit on which cause the humming to increase.

Help me!!! I need help on mod rewrite in .htaccess file. Currently, I have a hundreds of shtml file sitting in www.domain.com/abc/ and its sub-sub directories. The contents were copied over to www.domain.com/xyz/ now but some of the 3rd or 4th level directory structure have been change. I need to add in a mod rewrite in the .htaccess file to redirect users accessing the old site to the new site of the same page they requesting on the old. But if the new site does not host the old site pages anymore, it should move up 1 directory level and look for index.shtml. Anyone can help me??
