Problems after problem. Last week, my 2nd Giesemann Nova II pendant cover glass broke. The glass pieces drop into my tank and exposing the ###### DE bulb to the acro. Luckily it only run for 3 hrs before I got home. Not much damages done, i hope so, just discolouration of acro under that pendant. Good thing is I bought an extra piece of cover glass from Giesemann after my 1st pendant cover glass broke. Have since replaced it. Bad thing is, I run out of glass cover now. Cross my fingers my 3rd Giesemann dun break!! The cover is damm ex, SGD$75 per piece. Cannot keep breaking glass leh .... pengz ..

I have check with both Giesemann Germany and ERALCO Trading Singapore. Both don't seem to know the availablility of these eballast in Asiapac and european region. They will be getting back to me once it release for asia market. Eballast is release for the US region to counter the problem they face with 110v to 220v transformer. I got quotation from US side and the price is US$249 per unit inclusive shipping to Singapore.

And those Giesemann eballast cost US$249 inclusive shipping to Singapore .. Too expensive for me to upgrade ......

Actually it doesn't matter the test clock over the scale of 100mg/l or did you dilute the test solution properly or not. At > 100mg/l , you still have to do some work to reduce the NO3 soon...

I tried connecting 2 eheim 1060 into a Y connector before. The flow of both pump counter each other. In the end, the output flow at my tank is the same as using 1 ehem 1060 ... Do not run pump in this configuration... Unless you got nothin else better to do

Benz, What happen if the motor is a DC motor? Eg. An AC/DC transformer is empolyed to convert the AC supply to DC in order to driver the motor. If we apply phrase angle control and manipulate the freq on the AC end thus say reduce the freq to 25hz. What will happen at the ac/dc transformer end and what is the final voltage or running power of the DC motor?

Not all pump can be frequency manipulated hor. Will cause fire!!!

I email Tunze many times until the guy there gave up. He finally tell me that the speed of a varaible Tunze Stream pump is manupulated by frequency. In IKS product, they call its Phrase Angle control.
