  4. Finally got a decent answer here ...
  5. I really "shock" at most ppl ability to read info properly even after I post a pic of the spec.... Here in SG, our electricity supply is 50hz and not 60hz, therefore look at wattage specified for 50hz... pengz ... U need a thicker spec
  6. The Pump is now reserved. Will post further details if its still available. Thanks for the interests
  7. AT, Mmm.....backup of the backup i guess...h.a.ha.h. Too many pump generating too much magnetic field at home leh, distortion to my TV signal....
  8. Crab, That's why I said I'm selling slightly below my cost. If you include shipping from, its gonna be SGD$160 more. I got it hand-carried back to save the shipping cost.
  9. I have a brand new unit of Iwaki MD-70RLT, hand carried back from US about a yr ago. It's a special ordered original 220v version by the US LFS on my behalf. It have since sit in my store room since then. Would like to sell it off at $550, which is slightly lesser from what I paid for. I was told this pump is sold for almost near to 1k in Singapore .. you have to find out yourself...
  10. Mine started pecking after 2 yrs+ ... And I have spend another 6mths trying to kill the fish. no success yet ..
  11. huh... I go find the main switch and black out the whole place ..
  12. Bum, You did a very nice front cover-up job. I haven't been successful covering up my stand and egg-crate. In fact, I did them wrongly, too high, end up I not getting the rock scaping I wanted it to be
  13. Got... Get an IKS Aquastar with a SIMMOD module ..kee..kee..
  14. Dimming of ATI is different from on/off the light using timer. The dimming process took 45mins to dim from 100% output down to 0% output. This is a smooth transition of turning off the light. The turning on is the same, 45min from 0% up to 100%. Such lighting will prevent shock to fishes and help them get prepare for bed time. But not too sure they does the coral any good thou.
  15. idefix, Aquastar is just the basic system. Thought you own 1 from the pic in your website? The 4 control socket is only able to communicate with the iks socket plug which decode the signal send from the Aquastar, therefore there is no way you can try to control Tunze Stream without the help of the variable or non-variable socket. If you open up the IKS socket, you will see a miniture computer board with many capacitor etc in it. And if you open the Tunze Stream, there are 5 wires in it, connect to the Tunze controller board too. I guess you must understand both circuit functionality before you can try to do so risky connection. Both IKS and Tnze kept close door to their circuit design...
  16. Isn't it nice to have a coraline covered Tunze pump??
  17. Wow... your tank looks really cool. Like the rock work beri much. Do you support your rocks with rack or its pure rock pile at the back of the slope? Any chance for a tank spec?
  18. Did you set your router to be a DHCP server? If the router have wired port, try connect to a NIC and check the configure and also test for DNS resolution. The router might not be connected to the outside world at all. For wireless, check if there is an option for "Short Preamble". Disable that as some wireless card might not be equiped with it. Disable all firewall and security setting including Encryption. Test it working then slowly harden the router settings....
  19. idefix, Its confirm IKS variable stream model can be control but IKS variable socket because I been running it for mths already. Just insert the AC plug of the Stream into the IKS variable socket, tune the Stream blue box to the 100% mark, then use your IKS to control its speed. Min at 25% to max of 100%. I tried 24% and stream does not start and give out beep beep sound.

    MH DE vs SE

AT, Its doing better with the bulb 14inch above water line. But I would really wish that the bulb aren't so far away, wasting the light output to my living room

    MH DE vs SE

Coral_ClamS, They are aquarium lighting from reputated brand. Seem okie for the bottom clam and coral even I shift the pendant higher, but I hope not too high as it gonna waste my electricity shining light out of the tank. For 3ft tank, 1 to 2 pendant is enough, this depends on the angle of reflection from the pendant too. DE bulb only come in <6.5k, 10k, 13k and 14k. The only 20k is XM which is only available in US. orgasbt, They stated that its a UV shield, but then, still my acro got sun burnt...

    MH DE vs SE

I'm using 250watt. The light able to penerate depth of 2.2ft. No intension to change to SE as its going to cost a sum of money again. Maybe shift the pendant higher is the next alternative lor

    MH DE vs SE

DE will burn all your acro while SE will make them grow. I'm using DE, place 14inch away from water surface still burn my acro
