This evening the replacement tank was set up. I duno how long to cycle my tank again. Look at the glass....CLEAR as compare to the 1st tank. Which scaping is nicer? front view right view Left view (close UP) left view

Well, a long wait for my replacement tank to be deliver tom (Fri) afternoon. Hope everything "swee swee heng heng".

It started with normal tank without sump. I decom my tank and set a budget of $5000 for a all new 4 x 2 x 2 tank with sump and cabinet. end up with 1 $12000 tank by adding more equipment and still setting up (LS not included) Well i hope that $$$$ will be well spent together with my family as well talking and learn from you!!!! reefers. cheers Happy New Year 2009

During the set up (posting #65) where piping, sand and LR are being introduce, i have notice that there are some white stain on the glass and thinking that it could be some sand "mud". I could confirm it as there are no lighting being install at that moment, so it is hard to see.

After waiting for the tank water cycle, i found that there are stain mark inside the tank front and side. Any reefer ever had the encounter before?

Actually i took my time for the set up. Hear that AM are comming with the new skimz kone, i decided to give it a try. Had been wait a while for it to arrive. Officially it was installed with latest Aquatornica advance set (6.1 ver hope i am right) last evening by Mr Steve and Ah Du. If i have the time, i will post more pictures but also wanted your valuable comment and everyone to join in for discussion. I am totally new with Marine reef tank, need alots of advise. Cheers

I am happy with the chiller. But so far yet to install MH light:- 2 nos 250 watt plus 2 54watt T5 lighting. I will also montor the "run in+cut off timming" Before this new tank, my old tank 1/5 chiller works very hard. Cheers

My place is warm when the sun ray enter it in the afternoon. I presume that the tank temperature will also naturely rise. I learn something from your last sentance. Thanls

Upoon the 1st set up, it was set at 27 but after they left, I set it to 27.5. But when they come over, they adjusted to 27 again. Upoon calling them, their advise was 27 again cause it does not make much diff...........Anyway FYI, i am facing the west sun in the afternoon. LOL
