Bro, 2 clowns died don't mean tank crashed. If your intention are only 2 clowns, I won't even do recycling as long as the clown is healthy. Fyi, a QT tank doesn't need to go thru the process of recycling and it called a QT tank. Yet the fish still survive in it. There are many reasons for your clown fish death and best to read and ask around. How to introduce LS is very important too.

I do have algae. probably lighting, feeding and my NO3 was quite high during my conversion period. Took about more than 6 months than coraline algae overlapped the green algae.

I don't think this is luck. By doing the proper step before conversion. It is prossible to have a nice reef tank. I also didn't change my media and rock yet able to convert without no issue. Just want to share to ease the misconcept of copper usage in marine tank.
