  1. They are different. The main physical difference is that Naso ###### has a yellow rim around its fins, whereas normal Naso has dark brown.
  2. Any idea how much the naso ###### cost there? By the way, I have no idea what are the places u r talking about?? Paris - parad#@ R@@f? Ah Beng - ??? PM - Pet mart?
  3. U r right! I was there yesterday evening and their naso ###### is really expensive! The large one cost $180!!! But it is stunning. Furthermore all the small redsea sailfin cost $60+. Pretty x, compare to other LFS. But the condition of these fishes are good and stable. They are feeding as well. Just too X. Any other LFS which has a better price?
  4. Ops thanks, save my trip to Bio Ocean. In that case, I will go to CF to have a look.
  5. To each has its own, I suppose. I find it quite stunning.
  6. Bro, u sure it is naso ###### Tang, not naso tang hor? If yes, I will drop by tomorrow to have a look.
  7. Been looking around for naso ###### Tang. Anyone seen it at any LFS? Apparently, it is not in season as according to some LFS.
  8. My ex-blue hermit will happily snip away all my macro-aglae. It also tried to snip at my fishes when they r sleeping at night. Occasionally, it also disturb my tube anemone. Also, it usually eat meaty stuff, not diatoms or algae. However, it did help to disturb the sandbed when it "walk" around searching (sieving) for food.
  9. for your opinions. Now I am even more confused whether to get another PS... Wanted to get a beckett but too expensive for a piece of plastic equipment, I would rather get a set of golf clubs...
  10. Pretty good idea as well. Good luck
  11. U can try to reduce the height of your durso pipe. Since the volume of flow increase with the diameter of pipe constant, u will need the hydraulic head to increase so that an equilibrium can be achieved. As to how much lower, u will have to trial and error. Make sure that your outlet of your durso pipe is not restricted. Hope that it helps.
  12. Well, I intend to place the 2 skimmer pumps parallel (not one after another) at the last portion chamber of the sump. Will this configuration skim out more overall waste?
  13. U means the position of the skimmer pump...
  14. Sorry for bringing this old thread back. But I am considering 2 PS myself. IN theory, if the PS are placed parellel to each other, i.e. side by side (with a buffer distance) where the water flow direction is, then the pumps will suck in water without affecting each other. With more flow into PS, it should pick up more skimmate. How about if one PS in sump and the other in the main tank?
  15. But Eric told me otherwise leh. He is running 2 PS concurrently and he said that the combined skimmate is more. Blur liao... Will try to search but topic for PS is too much, see whether can be lucky enough to find the appropriate one or not.
  16. Nobody tell me what is LTA leh? By the way, I got the so called rose BTA (the picture) at a much higher price since it is suppose to be a BTA!!! So the market price for rose LTA is about $30, then I will have to go back to the shop to make noise liao!!!
  17. A lot of proton in Malaysia are turbo or supper charged, from kencil to perdona. Even EVO lose to them in straight road pickup. But of course, at curve, 4 wheels drive will win lah.
  18. Mmm... so from what u have said, that means the needle wheel actually suck in air and water before the impeller and the impeller with the speed of the water will "chopped" the air and mix the 2. As for normal venturi, only the speed of the water will "chopped" the air. Basic principle of differential pressure still the same. If the 2 work at the same efficient, then I suppose using a venturi is good enough, right? By the way, with the same specification, which one is cheaper?
  19. I am using Weipo 2014 with Dynamax 2500L/hr and some noise can be heard from the PS too. The flow rating is quite nice for this PS.
  20. I heard from some reefers that running 2 PS concurrently will have a very strange phenomenon, ie. one skimmer will skim more than the other even though the latter skimmer used to skim a lot. How true is this?
  21. Can I know what is the difference between the needle wheel and venturi? It seems to me that the fundamental principle of this 2 units are the same. Also, which one will be more efficient?
  22. Any idea on the market rate for a LTA? I have bought it as a rose BTA, pretty expensive. So if LTA is cheaper, then I will have to feedback to the shop.
  23. What is a LTA? Land Transport Authority?!!? ;P Long Tip Anemone? Any more information on this guy?
