  3. Internal filter that submerge inside the water usually produce more heat, so water temp is higher. Cannister or overflow filter with the motor outside the tank will not affect the water temp as much as the former.
  4. hi, Spoke to the lfs folks, they said that it is OK to leave the LR residue inside the tank...if too unsightly, just suck it out. Otherwise, no actual harm done. I'll let my filter to do the job...too leceh to clean the LR with brush... Cheers !
  5. hi, Is it OK to leave the debris from LR in the tank....or should I remove them. Cheers
  6. hi, For 2 ft tank, you have exceeded the limit...IMO, you should keep at most 3-4 fishes only under such condition. You should only keep 1 angel or 1 tang only for 2 ft. Cheers !
  7. hi there, For 2 ft tank, you should keep at most 3-4 fishes. If you intend to keep angels or buttleflies, keep at most 2 (those dwarf sizes only) for 2 ft tank. Cheers !

  9. Can 2 ft tank hold 2 banded shrimps ? I thought they will fight until one dies... If so, I am tempted to get another banded to keep the existing one company..
  10. hi all, Thanks for the advice. The fish has gone to heaven last nite. I am still very curious on why it died so suddenly. The other tank mates are are fine. It was feeding well and I have him for 2 months and then suddenly it stops feeding completely and just sulk in the corner. Not sure if this is caused by the recent heat wave because the water's temperature is between 30-31 Celcius recently. I have no AC fan or chiller installed as the tank is indoor.
  11. hi, My maroon clown has not been eating recently...if this continues, I doubt it will survive. I have checked, no disease, no white spots, no aggressors and water is OK because the other common clowns are fine. Previously, it was eating well until recently it does not eat anything at all. I have tried frozen brimp shrimps, flakes and pellets.... Anyone can help me on this ?
