OK guys & gals, I am soooo kiasu, I know .. ordered too many buckets (thinking bulk order, same $$) but since I have recently decided to move to the NP pellet via FR system of phosphate/nitrate export removal from my tank, I only have need for 1 of the 5 buckets I ordered .. Dear Senior Reefers, Please help me ID this slug-like creature which I actually noticed a couple of months but it was tiny, (about a cm long) looks like it has grown to about 5cm in length. It must have come from a coral piece purchased from one of the reefers. Please advise if it is OK to keep it? What does it feed on and if it is beneficial to my tank? Thanks.

Hi all, Thanks for all the many PMs asking for the cheato macroalgae. I don't really have time to answer everyone's. I have given away the last of the available harvested cheato to the 1st few reefers that asked for it. One more tub left reserved & to be collected tomorrow. If not collected, I will contact and pass to the next available reefer on that list. Thanks for all yr interest. Next harvest in a 8 weeks time!

Hi, can you give me a link which helps me understand this course of treatment as I have the red slime problem that just won't quit even tho' I physically remove the cyno every fortnight and make a 20% water change. Phosphate levels are in check but altho' nitrate readings are undetectable with standard testkits, I am guessing it is false reading as the cyno feeds the NO3. My tank is only 6 mths old. Please also advise where I can buy the 2 treatments you mention. I do not want an antibiotic treatment as I have heard it affects the beneficial bacterial balance in the tank.
