Nori is actually a variety/type of seaweed. I found mine at Cold Storage, 10 8x8in sheets for less than $4. Check the label and make sure you buy the one without added pepper and other spices.

I think unless you have a high bioload (ie. too many fish &/or too heavy feeding = too much nutrients) or you do not have a powerful enough protein skimmer to handle the size of your bioload input, its best practice to only need to change water 10% each fortnight (every 2 weeks). I know many reefers with successful tanks only change their water maybe every month or two. Its all about regular monitoring your water parameters and making sure each level is within acceptable limits.
