think to convert my reef tank into clam and fish oni tank. My tank is a 3 ft tank, with 5 fish and 7 clam and alot of LPS corals. So any thing I need to consider before convert into full clam and fish tank??

Thinking to DIY timer and sell it here... but how much u think u will pay for it?? The idea of the timer as below : 1. a. 1 output for blue light, 1 output for white light or MH, 1 output for LEDs moonlight b. 1 output for blue light, 1 output for white light, 1 output for MH, 1 output for LEDs moonlight 2. a. 1 output for fan (can select AC or DC fan) b. 3 output for fan when different light is ON (same can select AC or DC fan) 3. Programmable timer to ON different light at different time(user choice) The Kit will have relay and transistor for safety. The jumper will be for the select of AC / DC fan. Bro and Sis can give comments and suggestion.

a healthy clam is with the rock, the mantle is fully open n is very nice grow color on the mantle. also make sure no snail on them. so when choosing, see all the abv. best u get them from a good lfs.

any1 can help me to understand starfish more. 1. Is it good to have it?? 2. How to feed it?? 3. How long it will last in a muture tank?? 4. Can the tank have a clam, if the starfish is reefsafe?? thinking to get a few.... Thanks

When feeding coral with frozen food, do I need to off the light of the tank?? Saw in Iwanta they off the MH before feeding the coral...
