yes, 2x39w T5 is enough. But 1 is 10k white n other is 20k blue tube. dual e-ballast is ok. but better use timer to on both the tube. not 1 at a time. except u are always sitting beside the tank....

think u should use timer switch. Cos end of the day you will find it better than manual on/off the light. And also the coral would get use to the correct timing.

Can I use heavy salt contain water to dip the LR?? And can shrimp , crab , "killer" dead??

actually already thinking to but all LR into fresh tap water... but oni scare it hide in the coral...

set up 2 crab trap, after 1 nite... found 10 pcs of baby shrimp... What should I do ?? Know I can put tragger fish... but I have clam and a few shrimp in my tank.... pls help................

think there are 2 type of T5 blallast. 1 type is 36W & other is 39W. same as the tube too.

I did on a big piece of LR, and I kill 3 pistol shrimp... WOW!!!! I just wash with tap water and put in a pail of water......

can I wash the LR with tap water?? Purpose to kill all "killer" inside the rock. Any1 can help??

I also did my DIY T5 hood using PVC cable trunking. But I add in small fan to blow on the eballast. Being using for 9months liao..
