  4. Hairy mushroom..Heard it's easy to keep. But I tried, from Brown to white and die off already.. Think yours turning white already right? About time.
  5. For more info of the product, you can visit www.waterlife.co.uk/diseasetreatments.htm Petmart is selling this big bottle of 200 tablets for 1500liters. The $10+ only has 21 tablets, for 150liters.
  6. I conclude that at anytime, the total LS of the 3 shops in Havelock, TiongBahru & Chinatown is lesser than a shipment from Reb@@n. So why waste time there.
  7. I am using 2014 with 2800L/Hr pump. I guess my question here is how fast can you produce the black skimmate? If I set the water lever low, it needs more than a week to collect just 1cm in the collection cup. So don't think it's efficient. If I set the water lever higher, eventhough not very thick, but I am happy to collect a cup every few days.
  8. Try Waterlife Octozin, read that it's safe for coral and invert. But it's an expensive treatment, especially for large tank. 200 tablets bottle cost $60+.. 3 days course for 1500liter.
  9. I have tried using finger, but the more I disturb it, the smaller it goes, furthermore it's base it hidden inside a hole. I read from a website of a way by using Kalk http://user.aol.com/aquariumVet/medic/anemone.htm that How do I get rid of the dreaded Rock Anemone? Injecting them with calcium hydroxide (kalkwasser) in a concentrated solution is one of the most common methods used. The consensus I get on this method is that it does work, but not very efficiently unless done properly. The kill rate is low if the anemone is not directly injected with it and if the solution is not strong enough...........
  10. Let's go back to the origin.. How ppl remove it from the sea?
  11. Hon, Wonder whose marine tank can be as big as yours in Punggol.
  12. Thanks bro for the suggestion. But the problem is I cannot remove the big base LR which is a foundation. I am wondering how diver remove it from the sea?
  13. I have this carpet anemone which hold on tight to one of my big base rock. So it's impossible to take out the base LR. I have try blocking it from light and stack rock on it.. yet it's still unwilling to move out. Even come to using a spoon to scratch it. It just shrink small to protect itself. I observed the anemone from LFS, and thinking there must be a way diver used to remove the anemone from the sea, especially all sticking to LR. Can't be they move it together with the LR right. Anyone know of the method?
  14. He seldom online. Suggest it's better that you call his shop at 62788830 or HP 97613924 for David. I just collected the stuff from him last night.. and he is urgently selling it away as his new tank is coming. Else he will crash it very soon. Who knows you can bargain for a better price.
  15. Agree. His LRs are cheap and worth buying. I won't say it's totally flat, it's thin enough to create a foundation, and with nice shape for scaping. For that price you only get muddy, dirty, uncure LRs from LFs. Check out the few pcs I bought from him.
  16. CORPORATE LESSONS Corporate Lesson 1: A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower when the doorbell rings. After a few seconds of arguing over which one should go and answer the doorbell, the wife gives up, quickly wraps herself up in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next door neighbor. Before she says a word, Bob says, I'll give you 800 dollars to drop that towel. "After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands ###### in front of Bob. After a few seconds, Bob hands her 800 dollars and leaves. Confused, but excited about her good fortune, the woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets back to the bathroom, her husband asks from the shower, "Who was that?" "It was Bob, the next door neighbor,"she replies. "Great," the husband says, "Did he say anything about the 800 dollars he owes me?" He stopped and offered her a lift which she accepted. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to open and reveal a lovely leg. The priest had a look and nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg. The nun looked at him and immediately said, "Father, remember Psalm 1--?" The priest was flustered and apologized profusely. He forced himself to remove his hand. However, he was unable to remove his eyes from her leg. Further on, while changing gear, he let his hand slide up her leg again. The nun once again said, "Father, remember Psalm 1--?" Once again the priest apologized. "Sorry, Sister, but the flesh is weak." Arriving at the convent, the nun got out, gave him a meaningful glance, and went on her way. On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to retrieve a Bible and looked up Psalm 1--. It said, "Go forth and seek, further up you will find glory." MORAL OF THE STORY: Always be well informed in your job, or you might miss a great opportunity! ================================= Corporate Lesson 3: Usually the staff of a company will play football. The middle-level managers are more interested in tennis. Top management usually has a preference for golf. FINDING: As you go up the corporate ladder, the balls reduce in size. ================================= Corporate Lesson 4: A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it, and a Genie comes out in a puff of smoke. The Genie says, "I usually only grant three wishes, so I'll give each of you just one." "Me first! Me first!", says the admin clerk. "I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world." Poof! She's gone. In astonishment, "Me next! Me next!", says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of pina coladas, and the love of my life." Poof! He's gone. "OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager. The manager says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch." MORAL OF THE STORY: Always let your boss have the first say.
  17. AZ-NO3 can really stress up your fish and coral. IMO only meant for emergency. I used once and some coral didn't open up for days. Right now I fill up my sump with 15kg LR already, intend to add more. Also to upgrade to a better skimmer too. I have refugium and macroalgae too, but cyanobacteria keep growing there.
  18. Very beautiful and "Dao". A female, only allow you to touch when it wanted to go out.
