just to add on my earlier post.. it takes me 1min only.

This is what I did. The BS collected can soak with garlic guard without diluting with water. Don't be surprise that after washing 3 cube you left only 1 cube BS. The coffee filter I use is fine enough to filter out the BS and big enough to wash away the nuisance staff away. After rinse, shake the filter and the BS will stick together. Also, some dirty water still remain under the filter. You can completely dry it bu putting a tissue paper under it. I have tried putting a scope to collect the water, and don't find BS being washed away.. Only find very fine dirt.

I read from a book before that Xenia can release toxic which maybe be harmful to fish as well. So I wonder fragging it can stress it and release harmful toxic or not.

why not test the newly mixed salt water which suppose to have the min no3 to ensure that ur testkit is working

For that amount of sand & size of tank, should add in ½". I thought urs is a big tank, so advise u to add sand over it. Such nano tank is easy. Just take out and rescape loh. Adding sand will help u with a clean sandbed temporary soultion only. Your main contributor of cyano is high phosphate and nitrate.

Lazy to wash sand? That should not happen being a passion reefer. I did that. Initially mine 3" sandbed for 1mth, later added another 4" to it, also rescape the LRs. But wash you sand thoroughly. No matter how careful you add, your water will be mess. Just prey that your fish can take the stress.

Why not add fine sand over it so it won't stir up the sandbed and also cover all the unsightly cyano or diatom.

Found some info about PSII in http://www.mod-chip.com/ about the DMS3 chip, it mentioned DVD region free, divx, mp3 playback, but I was told that the website just exagerating only as it doesn't have the decoder for divX and mp3 playback. It needs additional memory to execute application inorder to play divx and mp3. IS that true?

I read that after some time, the DSB will be thinner cause the sandbed become more compact. It happens to mine, can see a drop in 1" already.

Think depends the amount of oxygen pump in. Once a LFs shop who use to export discus, told me he pumped in oxygen sufficient to last 48hrs cause I need it to last longer. He prepared the it at 6pm, and I passed it to friend the next day, and he only put it in his tank 7pm+. So already more than 24hrs, still last.

Hi, I was in SimLim last Sat to check out the price of PSII. Naturally, I will go around several shops to check out the price for a modified PSII. Was surprise to find that 3 shops price is $280-290. And 1 shop price is $380. All comes with the console and 1 original controller. The shop that sell $380 told me that the rest is selling a NTSC model with a white packaging whereas their id original a blue box with model number 5XXX (cannot remember). So need advise from you how many version are there, and which is the latest, price range, and which is better. Is <$300 the correct price to pay for with just the console and 1 original controller?
