  1. I tried for a few weeks before it willing to eat mysis shrimp. But it's too skinny from starvation, in the end still up lorry.
  2. Sounds logical. But it's unpleasant to see the white scratch mark on the purple coraline algae. It takes mths to grow, but overnight looted off your patience..
  3. That will be great, at least we seek your consensus before modifying it.
  4. I do not know if this will void the warranty. As you can see, the design of the 2 fans are placed in between the 3 segment of LEDs, maybe for a reason to cool down the LEDs, or the right spot for heat dissipation of the metal frame. To me it seems like the whole metal frame is a heat sink, whereby the placement of the fan is less concerned.
  5. Are u trying to promote more coraline algae in your tank? T95 has plenty nice LRs now, selling at a very good price.
  6. Just tested the 160w 16k on my 4x2x2.5. The brightness is superb for Lps. However the left/right iside of tank isn't brighten up due to the 3 segment of led placing very close together. Just wondering if I can modify to spread out the LEDs to cover more area. Initial bar led fan led fan led bar Modify to Led bar fan led fan bar led For those who has the set will understand what I mean by shifting the left led closer to the left, and right led closer to the right to spread out.
  7. Electric blue legged hermit scratch and eat my coraline algae leh, just like sea urchin. U guys experience that?
  8. Bro. I have the same perception like u when I use API for No3 & Po4 until I switch to Salifert. Nothing against the brand. I "thought" I have good water quality like you do.
  9. I bought this from ah beng before without knowledge of it's diet too. Luckily I quarantine fish, and I read up more of it before releasing to main tank. Otherwise I wont be able to catch it out. Do u manage to trap it?
  10. Besides placement, temp, lighting, and current, go get a good set of test kit like Salifert, you will then know where goes wrong with higher accurate reading. Looking at the amount of fish, likely due to high nitrate. What No3 test kit u using? I think Salifert cost below $30. For nitrate, you can look into biopellets, denitrator, refugium, water change etc.. I don't think you need a calcium reactor unless u are into sps, cheaper and simpler to dose calcium for Lps.
  11. Agree. All looks so healthy. Only Chromis seen, bioload should be low.
  12. [with lens], chrislwp, $124 [no lens], chrislwp, $120
  13. Is this "It's Clear!" really that good? Though I'm using it after Henry's introduction to improve the water quality and clarity, but I don't see much different. It's like ppl say drinking bird nest is good, but good for what?
  14. Have u call MadPetz to check? Friendly Ken should be able to advise you.
  15. I bought it from Henry of MarineLife before. You may check with him.
  16. Are u using it for a 4th tank? Seems like lighting coverage is good. But can't tell coral behavior base on your bare tank.
  17. Just trying to compare the 2 AT clip by CFOh, why is it the 2nd clip's AT, though nicer with a bigger orange tear drop, but white belly?
  18. Oh. So the 2 tanks of nice corals belongs to you? Cause aunty said the tank of fish with the yellow tank in a bag belongs to the same owner.
  19. That will be 97 nine7 nine nine 10
  20. Bro Raymond, I can see that it works wonder for you as you started giving away fishes... No more fish, fully sps for you now? Let me PM Gemsurf for the price and stock availability. Thanks.
