hi .. thought of getting one any suggestions on a good one? my budget is about $1000. so far, i have seen a Schuran (from ML), HS from (SL) ... any other brands like Koralin available in local LFS? thanz

i think your method is workable ... well at least for me! you see, the cyano has been growing in my sump so far, kinda unsightly as they are all over the macroalage, sand ... spoke to Hendry, ML, he encourages the growth of macroalage, ie leaving the lights on for 24 hrs if possible .. competing with the cyano growth ....

have been keeping this cow fish for almost 2 mths ... corals are still safe ... the only terrorists been eating my cleaners is my snow flake..... i have a moorish idol, clown, boxer, dancing shrimps in my 4 ft

saw some at CF last weekend!

in my case, i use those prawns (same kind as we used for makan and sold in kg at wet market) ..... just thaw them before feeding and cut into small pieces and using a pair of thongs ... when it smells it, it will just stick its head out and makan ... very nice to watch IMO .. you would know where to look for it once u put it in your tank and most eels seldom swim around in daylight ...

been keeping a snow flake for almost a year liao .. piece of advice - just dun keep fishes that always stay at the bottom .. so far, i suspect my eel has eaten 5 shrimps, a goby and a clown ... not complaining though as i enjoy the scene when it comes out under the LR to feed on the prawns during feeding times ....

so how to rectify it? but for the time being ... shall i remove them or just leave it alone? thanz

hi, what are these that are growing on my macroalage? been growing recently and when i tried to scratch it off, they look like dirt? harmful? or can just leave them as they are? however, realise that sometimes they do rise up to the water surface, forming a silk-like layer thanz

been using CL 650 for almost 6 months liao .... agree that it is kinda noisy but guess my whole family gets used to it liao! anyway, left it at a corner where there is ventilation so i guess not too bad! been to some reefers' homes and really, the reef relief models are very quiet as compared to Resun ... hope to change to it soon but gotta wait for year end bonus if any sighhhhhhhhhhh
