just squeeze the trigger-like button and u will travel .... but once released it will stop operating. some reputable dive shops have these scooters for rental, just make some enquiries while planning your dive trips. in my opinion, not worth to buy this as not only costly, also have to cost in factors like maintenance, transportation etc

i think his intention is leaving the pump running BUT the chiller is OFF ... for a certain period of time. personally i do not see any problems as i have been doing so occasionally too.

if it occurs at the joint, just remove it, use some white tape, and also apply a thin coat of PVC glue and join the ends again. it should work ... but bear in mind that once u use the glue, more or less it should be permanent. hope this helps.
