  6. 4x2x2 for sale, tank with me for about 2 yrs. full cabinet but minus the sump as still need it. decided to close this so as to concentrate on my remaining 3 ft and also have a new setup in office. however, collection only in Oct when the new setup is complete. asking for $300.
  7. hi, anyone has spares? pls PM. many thanks
  8. fully agreed! previously was using Korallin and i dread to do regular maintenance as there were multiple steel nuts and screws to remove and it also same just with a circular base, without a rectangular base such as this Skimz. Not to mention for the former brand, the eheim pump is mounted on the top of the cylinder and hence made maintenace a nightmare! switch to this Skimz half a year back and so far so good! price wise it is definitely comparable than other similar capacity models in the market too
  9. yes there is one. located near the hawker centre where the basement is the wet market, in fact there is a link-way from the hawker centre to the lfs, it is located on the second level, with shophouses on the 1st ground.
  10. selling this as bought a new one. asking for $300 neg. interested parties pls PM. thanks
  11. have the following for sale:- (1) Korallen CR, been used for almost a yr liao, can't remember the actual model but it is the largest one. no defects and in good condition. reason for selling - thought of changing to another model. asking for $300 neg, without the gas cylinder though. (2) ARM, have 2 brand new bottles of ARM, thought of switching to Rowalith. bought from Reef Depot, asking for $60 each. (3) DI unit purchased from ML, bought at more than $200 1 yr back, reason for selling is sharing another larger DI unit with friend so kinda redundant. aksing for $80 neg but need to change the resins which costs about $80 i think. interested parties pls pm. thanks
  12. bought this from Aquatic and only to set up lately. personal opinion:- (1) set-up - 8/10 simpy plug & play but before hand make sure u buy an adapter for your pump to be connected to the system (2) size - 9/10 very compact, in fact was very much impressed with it as compared to the current models i the market (3) accessories - 9/10 came with a power cord, 2 float switches which enable u to have 2 modes - mode A, just the usual pump in the reservoir, float switch in the sump. activates upon detection of the lower level due to high rate of evaporatiion etc mode B - similar to A but the other float switch to be placed in the resevoir so prevent the pump from running dry. (4) price - comparable if not cheaper than the rest of the models. (5) overall - would rate it 9/10 as it meets my needs and the easy set up.
  13. been using ehiem for more than a year liao. never fail me once. paid about $80 plus for one unit. like the sturdy look and in addition it is splash proof. hope it helps.
  14. are u using the siphon method to get the water (from your tank) to the reactor? i have been using a 'feeder pump' to get the water in the reactor, initially i switched on both but i realised that the ehiem did not work. experimented a bit and realised that i have to switch on the 'feeder pump' first and wait for while before i could switch on the ehiem ..... despite that the reactor was filled with water. hope it helps.
  15. bro, pm u on your skimmer & LR. thanks
  16. as above, pls pm me if any. thanks
