  5. have the following to sell, pls sms 9624 5824 for more details: (1) Resun C1000 - chiller has been 2 years-old and working well, however, not for fussy buyers as cover is rusty etc. asking for $150. (2) tunze calcium dispenser 5074 - used less than a month, selling as customised a Kalk Reactor. bought from RD and selling for $100.
  6. That was my initial concern too, what i wanted to check was whether it is activited upon +/- 0.5 instead of 1 - my preset was at 28.6 - that means it will kick in at 29.1 (28.6 + 0.5) and cuts off at 28.1 (28.6 - 0.5). currently mine kicks in at 29.1 and stops at 28.6.
  7. thanks just want to confirm that it is working in such a manner.
  8. have not done the wiring and currently looking for a swee-swee box to house everything inside. hence thought of using the chiller as it is for the time being.
  9. yes, that 's the way it is working right now, thanks for all the responses, just want to make sure as the other chiller, also of Artica-make, is using a controller, hence not too sure of the way it works. thanks
  10. just got a 1/10 Artica and realised that its activation is not as stated in the manual, ie I set my desired temp at 28.6, it cuts in at 29.1 and stops at 28.6. however, the manual states that it kicks-in/stops at +/- 1 degree C. is this normal? i have not changed anything else other than the desired temp. thanks
  11. anyone? read online but all in terms of gallons. currently thought of using eheim 1000 or should i use something near 2000? pls advise. thanks
  12. as above, prefer brands like SKimz, DE etc. if any, pls sms 9624 5824. thanks
  13. think in this hobby either upgrade or decomm! what else? bought the jbj 24G for my son and realised this IQ3 is redundant. hence may as well sell off. ha ha ha
  14. been reserved. will update later on.
  15. as above, asking for $50. all clean and ready to be collected. pls sms 9624 5824.
  16. yes it does come with the sensor, and spare sensor is selling at $15 / piece.
  17. intend to use it as an external temp controller, hence, the connection goes like this: (1) for further ease of use, will buy a regular wall-plug so as to allow a regular 3-pin plug (from the chiller) to be connected to this controller straightaway (2) notice there are 12 'holes' at the back of the controller, and as stated on the manual, (1) and (2) is for the sensor (3) (3) 'LIVE' to the OUTPUT (which is my wall-plug now) (4) (4) 'LIVE' from my main power, which is connected in parallel to (12) too (5) (11) is is 'NEUTRAL' which is drawn from the main power, which is also connected to the wall-plug. okie, did i get these right? pls advise.
