  1. If cutting aluminum sheets still ok.. Steel sheets are very though for a dremel tool. For finer grinding or shaping still ok.
  2. There is a deltec mce300 in the passer malam forum. Looks like a good deal
  3. Any Bros upgrading or letting go the SM122, kindly contact me.
  4. Not sure if it is effective in algae control but I did see some at AM yesterday. You may consider urchins also, they work for me really well ... Cleared all the hairy algae on the rocks periodically
  5. They should be nudibranches. And they most probably will feed on zoas. Considered pests, get rid of them asap!
  6. Nice setup! Any of the frags for sale?
  7. Just a suggestion ..I'm using 50% used live rock bought from pasar malam and 50% premium rocks from CF.

  14. Thanks for the advise. No more clawed critters for me. Just got some nassarius snail from jireh.
  15. Any tips from Bros with good success with blastomussas? I have tried to keep two blasto (red with blue center and another jut bright red). Both are placed on the sand bed. Most didn't make it while the bright red ones only left with a couple of polyps. Not sure what is wrong. Have other corals like digitata, birdnest, elegance, ... All still thriving. Critical parameters measured : Nitrate 5ppm, PO4 0.08ppm
  16. Agree with the hermit. Have a larger blue eyed hermit that always knocks frags down/over . I had to put him in the sump. The smaller scarlet red hermits are still ok, but they don't seem to be very hardworking and only appears at night..
  17. Currently I have 2 skunk/cleaner shrimp as cleanup crew. These guys are quite aggressive when it comes to feeding time. Scrambling fanatically, picking off food from coral tentacles and even digging into coral mouths to retrieve food. Are there any better behaved shrimps that doesn't terrorize the rest or any other alternatives that will perform the job w/o the aggression? I do have a decorator crab and another unknown crab... But u never see them come out to 'work' Cheers
  18. Control no3 po4 plus Clean up crew like turbo snails and urchins works for me.
  19. Thanks! That's a really great price! Was quoted around 150+ for a 28" 6mm glass sump with only one overflow...
  20. Any Bros got a frag of the blue polyp (reddish stem) sea fan to sell kindly let me know. It was sold at AM couple of months ago. Cheers!
