Oh, i toti was colour blind. Maybe we are both colour blind. Thanks for your help and a question which i am unable to help. Thanks for your no help. if i smoke pot, i will call you. Thanks for your prompt help. ## The manual says "Pull on the silicon tube on the blue syringe and take exactly 7 ml distilled waer from one of the bottles. Keep the tube on the syringe, some air resting in the tube does not bother. Put the 7ml of water into one of the low glass tubes. Question : Do I remove the silicon tubing when i put the water into the low glass tubes or should i also include the water in the glass tubing when i discharge the water into the low glass tube ? ( blood pressure building ) cheers

Me bought Fauna Marin Kalium test ( measurement of pottasium )kit some months ago. Until now, have not used. Old uncle find instructions very confusing. Even the color of the syringes is different from the instruction manual. And the flexible silicon tube is sooo long. The more i read , the higher my blood pressure goes... Is there any kind soul here able to help me ? maybe its my problem...as always the case.. thanks, old mike

No way one can resist. Walk out of the lift, the unmistakable reef lights welcome you from afar. Guided by the light, or rather blinded by the glow, you walk nearer, wearing off some resistance. The door is ajar. Another welcome ,like venus fly trap. But the fly cannot resist the sweet smell of reef waters inside. IN. GF welcomes you, tearing down the last of your tahan ness. Coffee, tea or me ? Ced asks. No, I want coloured sticks, is the likely answer. I want this and this and this.. You leave the house very happy, carrying the scented, hypnotic bag. Somehow you feel lighter despite carrying loads of water. $$$= H2O with sps + happiness. The lift door opens, yet another reefer comes out..follow the light and the way...Ced loves you.. cheers...opps.. mike

I went to his place to return the trap( ms Bell ) and...the rest is history... Only consolation is he is staying far from the west..phew... cheers

wil, fish grow fast and hence they need more food. Mandarin is lovely fish with great character but they need pods. Difficult to have ennough pods for them. Feed them with mysis and henry's food ? You need to flood the tank, for they are too slow.Sps not too happy about it. 1 small yellow wrasse should be enough.2, they become indjun chiefs, looking for trouble. Schizophrenic fish. But i guess you are very much in control by feeding once a week. I should try it. Think of it, this must be the reason why my sps did not colour up. More goodies will be on the way. My sps just grow and grow only lacking colour. You are welcome to them. I will keep a nice one for both your boy and the girl. cheers. cheers

not reef safe, nvm. Read my thread and take the necessary appropriate action. Its all there. cheers

Wil,I am reducing fish for sps sake and you are at the reverse. For example, I think 1 algae benny and 1 mandarin should be enough. Algae benny can grow really big. See the big dragon in Ced's tank? But then, you have Sps fingers and your sps colors are amazing ! I removed 1 big purple tang, 1 Bellus angel, 1 large banana wrasse and 1 butterfly. I am cutting feeding from 2 cube to 1 cube mysis per day. All these drastic measures are carried out because I want to challenge yours and Ced'S sps colours. I need to reduce the bio load. For me,no more big fishes. Only small and colourful ones. So you can givingb me a head start. Thanks, buddy rgds,

surprise at East Coast Park Bedok Jetty
yellowtang replied to CFOh's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
You are cool, your mum certainly not. I kept ant sized crickets in pails to feed my poison dart frogs. And now, after some many years, i still find these crickets in my house now and then. I think there is a nest somewhere,\.haha.. -
plenty of rocks for them to hide or hunt. Get a pair is better, you have a high chance of keeping one alive. cheers

You are a joker with a conscience, unlike me who also wants to keep all exotic animals. So far i have kept poison dart frogs, salamanders, scorpions, snakes, beetles, radiant tor, leopard tor, star tor, fishes, birds, insects, carnviore plants,dogs..etc.... cheers -
must be x rated..haha..never the mind.. good nite.

Yo..Yo.. all good things come to an end, bro. cheers

I could not post any more pics, I dont know why. So, i take this opportunity to close this thread. Thank you everyone for giving me very good advice. I will start a new thread, but not so soon. A subject that should involve even more participation., that will benefit all reefers. Let me think about it first. Have a good week ahead and more good reef power. Cheers mike
